    Sorry to hear about your wife's situation and hopefully it's just a misdiagnosis but if it's not moderate exercise and I stress only moderate along with a psychologist seem to help significantly with most of these folks. I've can sent you a great lecture from a guy in Australia concerning pain and how the body perceives it if you like, might help explain things a little. Best of luck to you.
