  1. First a few questions would need to be answered. Does he have any other major health problems? Where is the hernia and how big is it? Is there any bowel trapped in the hernia?

Do you know anything about incision hernias? My daddy donated a kidney to a friend about 10-11 years ago and now has one. He says it's not serious and the surgery to repair it won't be a big deal, but he makes light of things so we won't worry.
