It seems like having good quality high school contacts with close enough proximity to Norman would be a big issue to consider?
That’s a fair point and one that I did considered
At least on the surface that’s not a bad suggestion.
He has taken left over players that few other wanted and beaten good teams.
Apparently he has a good eye for undervalued talent and is able...

To follow up on the above post this is an example of what rammed earth and PISE wall construction can look like.
From what I’m understanding the cost is not a great amount more than building...
Expanding the restrooms and adding healthier concessions would help but they need to hire people who know how to operate a score board. Hire others who know baseball well enough to know what music to...
On the lack of fan support for OU baseball……
Sunny wouldn’teven talk to his home run club! Sunny wouldn’t even see his ****istant coachesto speak to the club. This year players were sent...
It would help the look of the stadium if OU put a concrete sealer down like they did at the football stadium. OU needs to expand the seating down the 1 & 3 lines and add a matching canopy. Lighting...
At one time more than a decade ago the was a rumor floating around that OU wanted to reconfigure the baseball stadium and turn it into a softball stadium. OU would then build a new baseball stadium....
A factor to consider is that there has been a divide between some of the various factions.
To unite these factions it’s probably going to take somebody who has no past ties to the OU baseball...
IMO we should look for a younger baseball version of CoachKruger.
Without a strong dynamic personality OU won’t improve it's fan attendanceas much as possible. It will take a great personality...

Sources within the program told SoonerScoop.com the relationship between Golloway and Castiglione became fractured, leading to this surprising...
Golloway had a way of repeatedly and frequently alienating people, players, and ****istant coaches, the program wasn’t going to get any better under him than it’s been.
IF Joe C. makes the right...
Like how he treated people?
Poor team moral of his own doing.
There are things that go on behind the scenes with Golloway…..Is there a chance that it was done on propose?
I think there was a good chanceof this.
I don’t know anything about the Oregon State guy…. Maybe OU could give him a nice pay increase?
But Joe C needs to have a solid plan B this time.
I was told by a very well connected source...
Actually it could help a great deal, if OU makes the right hire?
It’s going to need to be somebody who has a very likeable personality and is willing to work very hard to promote the program...
That wouldn’t be a bad choice at all but would he leave after only one year and with a brand new very nice facility being built?
What about the Oregon State head coach?
OU needs to hire someone with an extremely dynamic personality who would be willing work endlessly on building up the fan base and the facility.
I think OU would be far quicker to move forward...
I would be hitting as hard as you can because there is a pretty good chance of rain, perhaps heavy, this Sunday night & Monday morning and there are several more chances beyond that.

In this battle that is impossible….
That’s why it’s better for us if the 2 sides weaken each other.
The problem with getting involved is who do we back….? Be careful what you wish for?
One side seems to like Hitler, the other side seems to be like Stalin.
It’s almost a situation where the...
They need to make the areas near I - 35 a priority for cleanup.
Once it's cleaned up the traffic will start flowing more normally on I - 35.
Seems like if we get busy and build more water pipelines and may be more dams in our state then perhaps we would be more attractive to some industries who need water?
This undeveloped resource...

Are you a meteorologist? Or just pretending?
Well, I have missed the others saying that. LOL.
It’s a low cost way to promote the program that many others have done.
OU needs to do more press releases on its baseball stadium improvements.
Instead of one big announcement they should announce nearly every single improvement separately.
The more times people...
Maybe you should email this thread to them?

Many in the SEC very much do still feel that way, and it’s a big reason why The University of Oklahoma is not a good cultural fit in the SEC.
Who said they were going to be a top 5 D unit?

The thing about this number is that you could talk to several people at the ticket office and probably get several different answerers about the required point total needed for ND tickets.
Your right…. having mostly new players to replace the players who gave up school record yardage more than once is not a bad deal.
We can’t discount how much some of the younger players will...
I live in Guymon for 2 years myself….. It makes me appreciate OU & Norman even more.
It supposed to be 106 in Guymon tomorrow

It may work elsewhere but OU baseball will never allow beer consumption inside its stadium.
That’s why they need more tailgating.
Our early season weather hinders our ability to schedule top teams. If we could move up, or move the season back we could see college baseball schedule a few more of these top match ups on the...
OU should change the contract that restricts outside food and non-alcoholic beverages at its athletic events that don’t involve football and basketball.
OU should encourage more tailgating at...
I don’t feel real strong about not having the OKC game but the attendance has really dropped off.
Maybe the event needs to be better promoted by the OKC people?
Among other things in this thread I would like to hear workable (no alcohol) suggestions about how we can increase fan attendance for OU baseball games. Increasing the attendance and interest will...
