I love how this guy runs. The balance and explosiveness. Running through and bouncing off defenders. Natural hands.

He's already there physically. Short and stout with powerful legs. Can you imagine this kid running behind our behemoths up front?

    RBU!

From a fans point of view, sure. From a HS athlete, or even a college coaching staff, point of view; total bullshit.

Its the biggest life decision a 17-18 year old kid has made up to that point. There could be all kinds of factors that cause a kid to commit and still look around. Maybe a coaching staff is saying "we have one spot and if you miss out you won't be playing for us"...maybe the kid is pretty sure he wants to go to that school and wants to keep that spot but verify by looking at a couple other schools.

Its the coaches job to understand how "committed" a kid is and keep recruiting him, or make sure that they dont break off all contact with other kids at that position in case something goes south. Things change, coaches change, maybe a kid doesn't develop his Sr year like the coaches expect. The school can dump the kid just as easily as the kid dumps the school.

But as a fan of a school, you and I feel that a kid should be ultimately loyal from the point that they decide that they think they want to go to OU. But we dont really matter in the grand scheme of things, its determining the direction our life is going to take. Its pretty damn selfish to have that type of attitude.

He's ours until that giant Rivals dickwad Mike Farrell decides to push him toward the bagmen at L$U.

The Huskers are butt hurt. Pledger was going to visit for their Spring Game, but not now.

This kid has some really good moves. The great thing is he only uses them when he has to. Once there is daylight he's gone.
