Should this be in the political forum since we're talking about a former senator?

After the way our boy Sieve was treated in his death thread, this thread should be really peachy. Not.

One thing, just ONE THING I said to the negative before clearly acknowledging his success. And you don't even know what the f*** I was referring to anyway.

Certain posters should be banished to the pol board only. I'm certain some peeps on here do not have actual friends that they interact with at least on a weekly basis. Pretty sad.

I Wish Mr. Boren a speedy recovery.

Barring complications bypass is really a pretty simple procedure.

    open heart surgery

    this part freaks me out:

Your surgeon will make a 6- to 8-inch incision down the center of your chest wall. Then, he will cut your breastbone and open your rib cage to reach your heart.

They are basically working through an opening about the size of a pop tart. The healing of the breastbone was the only part of the recovery that was painful. Coughing was awful.

The part that freaked me out was them stopping my heart and deflating my lungs.

Both my FIL and MIL had bypass surgery early last year and they are both doing fine a year later. My MIL just left on a mission trip to Kenya.
