I'm little partial to Panang2 on North May, but I just don't get over to OKC often enough to try a lot of places.

My initial visit with God, whether earlier in life or later, will NOT include me saying I wish I would have cut back on the carbs. FULL CARB AHEAD!!!!!

I'm a big fan of Lemon Grass in Edmond, if you don't mind the drive.

Anything within short driving distance from OKC would be fine, so Edmond, Norman, etc.

Sweet Basil Thai in Norman is alright.

Pad Thai on Campus Corner is alright.

Saw Thai Thai today but haven't tried them.

Seconded. When I lived there, Lemongrass was my go-to.

For my fellow southsiders, we know Penang is the place to go.

I was on the southside a couple of years ago and went to the Panang over there. I was thinking....man, this place is great I wish they had one on the northside of town because this is a long drive. (I live in Edmond) Then I looked on their website and low and behold they had Panang 2 over by Quail Springs. So we started going there for a couple of years. Then last year, they built another Panang on 33rd and Blvd. which is about 1.5 miles from my house. So awesome. I love the Pad Kee Mao.

Don't live in Wichita, but I am a Sooner.

Another vote for panang 2 on May. Not just for the pad Thai. All their stuff is good.

This. Though no longer affiliated with it, a good friend of mine's mom started this place.

I've always been a fan of the Thai House, but the original location I knew on Classen isn't there anymore. I used to put a hurt on the buffet at the 23rd and Walker location, and the pad thai there was still solid.

The new one by me in Edmond is called Panang 5. Where's Panang 3 and 4?

Tana Thai on May Avenue is the best. It is much better than Panang.

Panang on the south side for me.

There are some good suggestions so far, but for pad Thai I recommend Sala Thai on NW 23rd, just east of OCU.

Especially as a lunch deal. A lot of bang for buck.

Went there this weekend and got the Pad Kee Mao (aka drunken noodles). I ordered the ****e level at 4 on a 1-5 scale, and was glad I didn't kick it to the max. Good, lingering heat. My companion let me try her order of sweet and sour chicken, slightly ****y, and I was impressed.

I'd gotten an appetizer and didn't really put much of a dent in the meal, so I brought most of it home. And rediscovered how noodle dishes really are best when they're eaten as leftovers, cold right out of the fridge.

Oh, and those Thai fortune rolls beat hell out of Chinese fortune cookies.

Yep. My wife and I always order the fried spring rolls and then I get pad kee mao and she usually gets pad thai. Both of us usually only finish half of our entrees and have leftovers for lunch the next day. And yeah, those fortune rolls are great. There was a period of time when they quit giving those out. I'm glad they started giving those out again.
