I've hit some and I liked them. Not as much as the clubs I built and not for the $ they charge. I hit my old DCI oversize + blacks as well as the new stuff.

My friend that bought them plays no better with them than the other clubs he had. Likes the extra distance until I pointed out his new 7 was the same club as a 5.5 in his old set.

It's the indian, not the arrows IMHO.

Easy pickins' today...everyone of the leaders should bring there A game and hope that the weather stays as it is now. Half the field on the course is under par. Grace with a 29 on the front side wow

Approach on 18 makes 62 very tough.

  5. #55
Looks like 63 is falling. Grace with a 2.5 footer for the record. Moves into 2nd if he makes it.

The British without weather is not near as fun as it can be.

Wouldn't it be great if someone else shoots a 61 today?

It could definitely happen. Those guys are all great ball strikers and if somebody's putter gets hot 61 is a possibility.

Spieth is just amazing with his putter. Yesterday on 16, he was lining up a long birdie putt - He asked Stenson to move his mark back one putter head length - and then hit the ball exactly over where the mark had been.....he missed the putt right at the cup -but if you watch Spieth measure and set up his putts, it's clear his golf IQ is way over many of his competitors

That birdie on 18 by Spieth won me some walking around money. I figured Kuchar might crash today so took Spieth over him. Very lucky.

Damn...had Matauyama to finish too 5 at 4.5 to 1 and he falls 10 spots to 15 after an OB triple bogey to start.

It happens. I think it was Justin Thomas the other day opened up +2 +1 and several holes later tossed in a +5 for good measure.

Spieth making it good for viewers.

  21. #71
    This is starting off ugly.

  22. #72
Is it me, or is Fowler's putting stance too narrow? Looks a little effeminate to me, not that anyone cares of my opinion.

Rory might have a chance if his birdies putts weren't all over 30 feet.

Can someone explain why there is a mad dash to the balls when they are hit behind the crowds? To me these people are the equivalent of jersey wearing, autograph seeking, ball glove wearing adults at other professional sporting games.

So much for them speeding up play.

  29. #79
He's doing all this and someone going to call in and say it was an illegal drop. And he's really freezing Kuchar out.

    yes!

woke up early (for me) on a west coast sunday to see if i needed to go back to bed.

nope. spieth is +3 on his round, going on at least +4, and it's a tied ballgame.

... and just in time to see this craziness on 13 with spieth on the practice ground.

at this point in his career, he's probably faring better than hall of famers kite and crenshaw.

hits an awful drive on 13, almost holes his tee shot on 14, makes a long eagle putt for the lead on 15, then holes another long bird on 16!

That sound you hear is Kooooch disappearing in your rear view mirror. I knew he was in trouble when he missed that putt on 14.

It never fails to amaze me that at the end of tournaments when all these guys have to do is tee it up and hit it straight they can't.

Kuchar handled it well but played most of the day like a guy who knew he was finishing second.

Monkey see, monkey do. The get up there and then pick their collective asses...wondering why they ran up.

I guess to get close to the next shot maybe? I stopped attending PGA events. Couldnt see well. I'm 5'10, but seems like everyone in the gallery is 6'3"

can't remember a golfer shitting the bed so bad in a final round and then making the last 5 holes his absolute ****

Spieth might be a horn - but he's an amazing golfer and is going to win a lot of tournaments
