Oklahoma State OSU player arrested on drug charges

An Oklahoma State football player was arrested Saturday after police said they found large amounts of marijuana and cash in his dorm room.

OSU police arrested Brendan Andrew Vaughn, 18, on charges of possession of a controlled and dangerous substance with intent to distribute within 2,000 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Vaughn was redshirting this season as a member of OSU's 2017 recruiting class. He was a three-star linebacker out of Forney High School in Texas. Scout listed Vaughn as the No. 38 prospect in the country at outside linebacker and No. 6 in the state of Texas.

At about 4 p.m., OSU Residential Life employees and police followed the smell of marijuana to Davis Hall, according to reports. Police said they knocked on the door and rang the doorbell but there was no response.

whats funny is no reporter at Gundy's presser yesterday asked a question about this.

its almost comical how Gundy treats the press like the puppets they are.

Make up some story about hunting turtles, and no tough questions will come

The interesting story will be how this came about. Who ratted him out, that is. It's only weed. Usually a rat has an ax to grind with a dealer.

That's funny......I remember when Gundy announced they weren't doing that I thought, "Seems like a terrible idea.......and just lazy."

"At about 4 p.m., OSU Residential Life employees and police followed the smell of marijuana to Davis Hall . . . "

If the smell was really that strong, you don't need a rat.

No one told him you're supposed to put a rolled up towel along the base of your door?

Intent to distribute - means he had at least a pound (I think). For sure more than a QP.

Within 2000 feet of a school. Even worse.

Yeah, this totally sucks. This kid's entire future and all the good he could've done his family and society took a huge knock, and for what? Before long, we'll all be subsidizing his small engine repair lessons at the technology center. The system is broken.
    Ok. I'm done.

Meh. He'll spend a month in jail and 5 years on probation. If he stays clean they'll erase it from his record.

When Gundy is reached for comment: I haven't heard. I've been out frog gigging. I don't have a smart phone. I have my original Nokia 8820.

Let’s see how many OKC and Tulsa TV stations go camp out in Stillwater for the next 2 or 3 days doing live reports, interviewing students and lead the news off with this story….The pokes want to be big time… well that’s what big time coverage is.
Intent to distribute, the weed circle must be back… I wonder if the doctored drug test are back too?

That doesn't always work in a dorm situation. Smoke gets in the ventilation system. Or so I've heard.

One of the advantages, I guess, to living in Cate before AC. A rolled up wet towel under the door sill, a couple of box fans strategically placed, open those big ass windows, get high as a mother ****er, rinse, repeat...

Okay I have known they had a football team for years...but now you're telling me they have a school there?

Is there actual proof of this ?

I might consider moving back to Oklahoma one day, when state laws acknowledge that marijuana is not a dangerous substance. Smh

I'd say you should maybe point more towards the Federal Government dropping MJ as a Schedule one drug. When that happens, I think you might find it much easier to travel to all 50 states.
