    Pedo St. has the best HC in the BIG, and an unrepentant recruiting base(the entire state of PA, with a large, football playing population). If they run their table, they will SURELY be in the Final Four.

    Ohio State will be undefeated until the Penn State game. Then we'll see if they've improved. I guarantee you they finish 10-2 at the worst. Michigan or the Fighting Paternos might give them an L but not both.

    I think if tOSU loses 4 games this year AND we lose our conference championship game to finish 12-1, then there's a good chance we don't get in.
    That's what I think.

    I think best case scenario Ohio state loses a game to penn state or Michigan, but wins the rest of them.

    I think U Meyer is too good a coach to have a horns like melt down season ... hopefully.

    I'm not convinced that the Buckeyes are very good, and I think they could drop 3 or more games over the season. Urban rightfully gets a pretty big benefit of the doubt, but Barrett really is a pretty average QB. That last miss on the wide open receiver was really really bad.

    Yup, it's Wednesday.
    JT Barrett's problem is he is a run first QB. It's good to have mobility, but QBs have to realize they are not running backs and should be a threat for the passing game.

    OU was in at 11-1 when Tennessee tanked as usual. There is no way Ohio State can keep 12-1 OU out, and odds are they can't be good enough to get 11-2 OU in.

    If you think there is any chance Ohio State loses more than 1 more game this year you don't follow college football. Ohio State losing to Army hahah

    I say we need the Buckeyes to lose at least one conference, division game to either PSU or Mich. I want to keep them out out of the playoffs

    Is Ohio State a top 10 team, maybe or maybe not. Can't tell yet. Do I think they'll lose 4-5 game like the OP said, very doubtful? I think they are a bare minimum a top 15 team.

    Here is how I think their schedule plays out:
    Indiana ---> W (1-0)
    Oklahoma ---> L (1-1)
    Army ---> W (2-1)
    UNLV ---> W (3-1)
    Rutgers ---> W (4-1)
    Maryland ---> W (5-1)
    Nebraska ---> W (6-1)
    Penn State ---> L (6-2)
    Iowa ---> W (7-2)
    Michigan State ---> W (8-2)
    Illinios ---> W (9-2)
    Michigan ----> L (9-3)

    I think they are still in the top 15 with a 9-3 record, and really the Penn State game is at home, and the Michigan game is winnable for them if Michigan doesn't improve a lot.
    Although I would LOVE to see that. Mich always finds a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of vitory in that game.

    I am actually not that impressed with Michigan. They couldn't get out of their own way against Florida. However, it's a home game for them this year so it is possible. On the flip side, Ohio State gets Penn State at home and is also completely capable of winning that game.

    Nothing will get 11-2 OU in. If so, yeesh.

    tOSU will dominate Army, then we will hear how they are a lock for the playoffs, and will swear revenge against OU and Mayfield for planting a flag in their asses at home.

    Until Penn State beats them. They look like the most complete team in the B1G.

    tOSU's defense is fast, the fact that OUr o-line handled those guys speaks volumes.

    Indeed. UTEP is horrible, which is why I find OU's win in Columbus so impressive. They'd not really been challenged in the first game yet still went in there and rocked the house.

    Great. That win in Columbus is starting to look less and less impressive...

    Army punched tOSU in the face on that drive.

    When you vanguish a foe, you move on to the next battle. You don't look back and examine the dead carcass of an old enemy. That's why Mayfield planted the flag.
