Gotta admit, I'm disappointed you didn't find a way to get Mosh Girl (Moshzilla) in the photo. [crying indian.gif]

Saturday's game against the University of Texas marked an important milestone in my journey as a Sooner fan. The first game I ever watched the Sooners play was against the University of Texas on October 14, 1967. Saturday's game was also on October 14, so it was 50 years to the day! The outcome in 1967 wasn't nearly as uplifting as Saturday's win, as Oklahoma fell to Texas 9-7. I was undaunted however and I was rewarded that year with a 10-1 record and a trip to the Orange Bowl. We defeated the University of Tennessee 26-24 in that contest.

where's the column with the 20 holds that weren't called??

did any other team in the nation play an opponent with more than 2 holds not called, thanks to corrupt officiating?

were any other teams asked to defeat two teams on a single saturday?

You haven't seen her in a while because she is fighting cancer which, once in remission, has recently returned.

So maybe she looks like Miss Piggy, but I'm sure she's grateful to currently be alive.

    Just FYI

OU is on 1-0 when I am in attendance for the red river rivalry. Should I go next year?

I didn't know that but now that I do I'm even more shocked. Most people fighting cancer get down to skin and bones. I hope her the best.

She was looking pretty bad for a while, hairloss, etc.

She's on an amino-treatment of which I am clueless, but there may be steroids involved which, as you know, cause swelling.

I have been rooting hard for her. She's good at her job, isn't the head-cheerleader type sideline reporter, is well=respected and frankly, is making a go of a tough situation and I respect that. I don't expect anyone fighting for their lives to be a role-model...just survive baby. However, she chooses to be a rock and I lift my glass.

Never had anything that required taking a steroid however I have a brother who has. He was on them for I think six weeks and put on 25 pounds. He said it was unreal he could go eat a full meal and have to stop 20 minutes later and grab something to eat so he could make it home where he would eat again. That would certainly explain the weight gain. Hope she recovers and does well.
