Someone just offered me four tickets to the game. I had to turn them down because I'm on call. In all honesty, however, I'd have turned them down even if I weren't on call. Even if we win out and earn a Fiesta Bowl berth, this season will go down as a colossal disappointment in my book. We suffered two catastrophic losses this year to teams with far less talent than we have. Had we won either one of those games, we'd still likely control our own destiny with regard getting to the BCS NC game. I can't believe that a team with all this talent and experience isn't going to play for the title.

Left the house at 7:30 and from Edmond to Norman I hit the brake maybe once until our Norman exit. Never went below 70.

Our parking lot had two cars in it.

Either going to be a late crowd or a thin one (or both).

First few games the Dallas junction was so bad we went east to Sooner Rd and then south. Today we took it like a race track. Your mom must have been behind us.

This appears, before the game gets underway, to be one of the most interesting games in recent OU history because of IState's OSU victory and the way they handled Tech and others.

I don't think they win, but what will be interesting is how we show up. A big victory will just incense people even more because of the Baylor/Tech games.

A close game or a loss will fuel the anger and fire for coaching changes, and the Sooners remaining on the squad for next season will face a lot more criticism next year.

We might lose this game too if we play like we did at Tech and Baylor. Iowa State is capable of playing good ball. We saw that last week and at Tech.

Please, the weather that is in Norman right now is basically the weather we had all football season in high school here in Alaska. It's not that bad to play in. The fans on the other hand...might be uncomfortable.

C'mon man. We're all disappointed, but that really means you don't want to see the games? I can feel like that after a loss, but it takes about 24-48 hours (depending on how painful it was) before I am excited for the next game.
