Anybody tense up there for a while in the 4th?
Way to ****ing go Thunder.
Ugh.
Oh well, going back to Dallas. Just gotta hold serve. And not fall into a 16-point hole instantly.
Here's hoping we can steal a win these next two games. It's obvious that KD's legs are tired, and to advance, we need a 5 game series and some rest. And hopefully the Nuggets can push the Lakers to 7 games (if not win in 7, so we could sweep the Nuggets, get some more rest before WCF).
here goes Barkley with the jumpshots
Which reiterates my disgust that the stupid Nuggets finished 6th and the stupid Mavs finished 7th. We would have swept the Nuggets, and the Lakers/Mavs at 3 vs. 6 would play 7 triple overtime games. Which also reiterates my hatred of the Miami Heat, because they are laughably backing into a Finals appearance, as players are literally intentionally injuring themselves because they're stupid (Stoudamire). Heat might go 12-0 en route to the Finals.
Where are Ernie and Shaq?

Fisher: 11 points on 5-6 shooting.
Perkins: 13 points on 4-5 from the field and 5-5 from the line.
Both guys had huge hands in the win. Also, the Mavs outscored OKC 40-18 in the paint after the Thunder dominated the same statistic in game 1. So the Thunder don't just have one formula for beating Dallas, which is nice to know.

I'm still waiting for KD to crank up his field goal percentage. I don't know what's going on with him, but we won't go far with his current production.
I hate the way Dirk plays sometimes with the headflops and play acting, but you've got to respect the guy in his postgame interviews. Never complains about things out of his control and is always complimentary of the other team.

Yeah, Carlisle is being a baby about it, hoping that refs will read his quotes in the newspaper or something, but Dirk avoids questions about the refs and talks about the game itself. Not like Carlisle has any room to complain when there have been 4 more fouls called on OKC up to this point in the series.
Here was a quote from him after game and I'm paraphrasing "it's the playoffs, it get physical and we don't like it WHEN they cheap shot us just like I'm sure they don't like it IF we cheap shot them" really? I guess he missed the parts where Derp was elbowing Ibaka.

All the Fisher ****ing should stop after tonight. He had a HUGE hand in winning this game. One playoff win and some solid backup point is why he was signed. Mission accomplished.

Harden was nails at the line.

Dirk and Terry (the play at the top of the key where KD was guarding him) put on a nice flopping clinic tonight. So embarrassing.

Personally, this is why I preferred playing the Mavs to the Nuggets in the first round. We want the Finals and you have to be damn tough to get there. The Thunder hasn't played a great game yet in this series and have fought for wins in both, I love that. Will that toughness be enough to carry them through? That's yet to be seen. But it damn sure won't hurt our chances.

If the Thunder are to win the title, theoretically, they'll have to beat 4 of the last 6 titles winners, ****uming the road is Mavs > Lakers > Thunder > Heat.
Is it just me or has Dallas played above and beyond their abilities, especially better than the regular season? Granted, they are a savvy, veteran team, so they know when to turn it on. But having said that, they have played about as well as you want to play a #2 seed in a tough venue and they didn't even steal a game. Add in the fact that KD has been, lets be honest, average shooting wise, but he has been a tad more aggressive resulting in more free throws.
If KD's shot starts falling like it did in the middle of the season then Dallas will find themselves down 20 fast
Did anybody watch NBATV after the game? Brent Barry was railing on the Thunder. As much negativity I was sure that the Thunder were down in the series 0-2. They spoke glowingly of Dallas and ripped the Thunder. One of the points was ****ists and turnovers. Barry made a point to rip the Thunder with 13 ****ists to 16 turnovers. Granted that is not great, but for the Thunder that is actually not that bad. But you know what they failed to mention, Dallas also only had 13 ****ists to go with 13 turnovers of their own.
No one outside a delusional Dallas fan expects the Mavs to win, the Thunder have title aspirations. It's great we are pulling out these close games, but 13 ****ists to 16 TOs (six of which were unforced) is awful for a title contending team. Much of the criticism is warranted IMO, the Thunder's offense is very stagnant with a lot of ball watching. You see glimpses of good ball movement (Fisher's late three was a perfect example) but they get bogged down watching Durant and Westbrook most of the time. It's great when those pull-up jumpers are falling, but that could spell trouble in later rounds.
Dallas def misses Tyson, JJ and Stephen
