And as much as he hate on Lebron, this is a cool story of him showing some servicemen respect at the OKC airport:

Three weeks ago, the Heat left Miami for a three-game West Coast swing. First stop: Portland.

That's a 2,700-mile trip, but it's a flight that most planes make without stopping to refuel.

But on the day that the Heat headed west, the headwinds were stronger than normal. The team plane was going to use more fuel than usual, so a refueling stop would be necessary.

Turns out, Oklahoma City was that stopping point.

Refueling a massive airplane takes time, so according to an airport worker who witnessed the entire scene, the players got off the jet and went inside the general aviation terminal at Will Rogers World Airport. Some lounged in chairs. Others stretched their legs. Most stayed in their own little world.

    Not LeBron.

He noticed a couple of uniformed military personnel approach the team's security person. Unbeknown to him, about a dozen helicopters were stopped there for fuel as well. There were Blackhawks and Apaches and Chinooks, all on long-distance flights. Will Rogers happened to be their refueling stop.

Just like the Heat players, the helicopter pilots were in the terminal stretching their legs.

They never expected the Miami Heat to walk through the door.

Some of them wanted pictures with the players, but when the crew members approached the team's security detail, they were told no.

Maybe LeBron could overhear the conversation, or perhaps he could just tell by their body language what was going on. Either way, he piped up.

“Hey, hey,” he said, “any of these military guys can take a picture with us.”

    He turned to his teammates.

“You guys get up,” he told them.

    He turned to the servicemen.

“Get your camera up,” he said.

He started to wave the servicemen over but noticed that some of the players weren't yet on their feet.

“Hey, everybody get up,” he said. “Get in a circle here. Anybody that wants their picture taken with us, we'll do it.”
And that's exactly what they did. Any of the four or five dozen helicopter crewmen who wanted a photo got one. Not all of them did, but LeBron and his teammates posed with each and every one of them who asked.

They were one of the best outside shooting Ds in the league before Thabo went down. He anchors that part of the D. They are , or at least were, the top team in the league at forcing bad shots from outside; or the shot % was #1 . I havent followed the numbers closely lately.

Portland always is a tough matchup, but for some reason it seems OKC plays better in Portland in this series at least in the past few years.

Plus, Portland has been very inconsistent. They don't have Camby or Wallace who were killing us. and the only person who could REMOTELY guard westbrook was Felton, and he's out.

Yeah, Portland isn't the same as they were before the trades. Still a solid team that can beat us, especially in their place, but they're not as dangerous.

Heh, watching the highlights of the Heat game the other night during the pregame made me remember how badly Brooks outcoached Spoelstra. It wasn't just an effort thing, OKC was just more prepared.

From what I'm gathering, I think Spoelstra is a dead man walking if he doesn't win the title.

Wouldn't surprise me. If you've got arguably 2 of the top 5 players in the league, you should win the title. Lebron's choking ability aside, I don't think Spoelstra is the best coach for them when it gets down to crunch time. Of course, Brooks hasn't proven anything, either, but I think he has more upside.

Best quarter of the year for the Thunder? It has to be in the discussion. Outside of a couple of open 3s, they locked down Portland on defense and were passing the ball well and shooting it well on offense.

It was an extremely sound quarter, but the post trade Blazers are ****ing terrible.

I still don't understand how the Blazers are so bad. They still have a legit super-star in the paint, with good outside players in Batum, Crawford, and Matthews. They should be much better than what they are.

The Blazers are only 3 games under .500 and just a few games out of the last playoff spot. They're not terrible by any means. It's such a shame for them that Oden and Roy couldn't stay healthy.

The fact that Perk can guard Aldridge makes all the difference in the world. Portland is very good when Aldridge has it going.

Also, I would suggest leaving Crawford open. That ****er can hit any shot when he is well defended but if he gets an open look he fires up a brick. Go figure

You've got to admire Portland for not throwing in the towel after getting bent over in the first half. They're a shell of who they were last season but are still fighting.

    We're insanely quick and athletic

We have at least one of three players that can carve through your team going 1 on 5 on the floor at all times.

We have the best shot blocker in the league.

We have a tough big guy who I swear averages a tech a game.

We have the best impossible shot maker in the league.

We have an unassuming white dude that constantly sets moving screens and flops on charges.

And we have a player nicknamed the ****ing honey badger because it really seems like he just does whatever the **** he wants.

Westbrook pulls off at least one sick-**** crossover and make a game to go along with juking the opposing PG out of his shorts at least once.

He has looked pretty damn good since he came back. Well, he looked good before his injury, too, especially on offense, but you're not getting off an easy shot when Thabo is guarding you.
