Poor Calvin. Damn you guys.
Dude Calvin is cool guy. Seriously, don't **** with him.
This team has a chance to with multiple titles. But right now our OL is more physical then the thunder.

Congrats to OKC on a wonderful season. This year's Thunder team reminds me of last year's Heat team. No reason to hang your head too much. The Thunder I believe get back multiple times this decade and are scary given their youth. I like to troll you guys but I really mean this and have nothing against you guys I just hate the Lebron hate. I think OKC is the odds on favorite going into next season.
Better season than I thought it would be. Crappy ending. Hopefully they can grow from this and git-r-done next year.

Ouch. That was a frustrating and suprising end to the season.
1) That was painful.
2) If you told me at the start of the season that we lose to the Heat in the finals I wouldn't have been disappointed.
3) We now have TWO bona fide superstars, considering both are under 24 years old that's a big deal. They both still have things to work on though.
4) I would like to see Brooks add or change his coaching staff. I'm not putting this series on Brooks, but think some experience/prospective would do this coaching staff some good.
5) I hope both sides, Management/Ownership and players see that this franchise has a chance in a lifetime. From ownership's perspective they can catch lightning in a bottle right now. It will take spending money, but they can build some tradition and fanbase in brief amount of time, establish OKC as a perennial power, and watch their franchise value skyrocket. From a player's perspective, they can start the next NBA dynasty at a historical age, and cement their legacies.
6) Miami was impressive. Wanted to hate, but couldn't.
7) Officiating. Miami outplayed us. They deserved it without a doubt. But the officiating needs to be addressed by the NBA. There needs to be a reevaluation of interpratations/directives given from the league as well as enforcement, accountablility, and consistency. I know this is the toughest sport to officiate, but these guys are pros, they do nothing but ref, there needs to be a better quality. I personally think the league has mindfucked the officials with some of their rules emphasis and protection of stars.
8) That was a fun season. Not knowing if there would be a season to the quick start we got off to, Westbrook drama, Thabo hurt, Reggie Jackson, tricking off the end of the season to the Spurs, needing a Durant miracle to win against the Mavs in Gm 1, getting down 2-0 to SA and then ending their dynasty. Just the coolness of having the Finals in OKC and OK in general. Certainly helps p**** the time to football season.

Here are some more useless post-season thoughts
1) I honestly haven't had this fun in any kind of sports season (even OU football) since obviously 2000, but I was only 10 then and couldn't grasp how rare it truly is for your team that you stick with and defend to win a championship. Yes, OKC came up short, but seriously this season was an absolute blast. Maybe that can be attributed to the condensed season making it seem like there was a Thunder game on every night. But the last second wins, OT wins, buzzer beaters, amazing plays on offense and defense, were just incredible. Beating Dallas in dramatic and sweeping fashion, finally beating LA when it matters in dominant fashion, and rebounding against the one team OKC could never grasp, the Spurs, and reaching the Finals...wow
2) Kevin Durant. Yes the die-hard Sooner in me always has the disclaimer that he went to Texas, bleeds burnt orange, and probably believes Mack Brown to be a great football coach, but after the way he conducted himself during the down times of the Finals and the post game, those petty Texas attributes have all but been erased in my mind. Yes, he was a Longhorn, but he is member of the OKC Thunder and loves to play here for us and his team. Couldn't ask for more, we as Thunder fans are EXTREMELY lucky to have him in the Blue, Orange, Yellow, ...and every other color we claim.
3) Russell Westbrook. If Durant is the heart and soul of this team, Russell is the fist that beats the **** out of anyone standing in their way. I get so sick and tired of hearing of this non-exsisten "feud" between him and KD, all the bashes (by some 'fans') that he ball hogs, shoots to much, blah blah blah. New Flash! This guy is an absolute stud, super star, well on his way to being the best PG in the game. At times when KD wasn't having a great game or his shot wasn't falling, Russell took the team on his back and played his absolute heart out.
4) Miami Heat. Throughout these painful Finals, I expressed a lot of anger of being a fan of the team that lost to Lebron to finally give him his ring. But, it's hard to hate on the team (media ****s not withstanding) as they played GREAT. Their stars did their thing and then some, and their others played well above their abilities, now we all know how Spurs fans felt when Serge shot 100% from the floor. They are the deserving champions. I'm happy for D-Wade, but I look forward to this generation's version of Bird/Magic over the next few years
5) Football season commence in 3...2...1... BOOMER SOONER!
But most of all, Thunder Up!
It was a fun season. Yes I think that some changes need to be made, but Western conference champs is a great accomplishment. As long as KD and RW are both members of the team, we are going to be competing for titles for the next decade. Great time to be a Thunder fan.
It's been a blast discussing basketball with all of you. Can't wait to talk basketball into June again next year.
does anyone know when they will arrive at will rogers tomorrow? sorry if already posted
Royce Young said 2pm tomorrow. Really hope the crowd is fantastic tomorrow. I'll be at work, but whoever is free should go and post pictures!
What a damn good season. Can't wait for next year. This thread better be twice as long next year with all the bandwagon fans we've picked up along the way.

Whoa hahahahhahahas
Maybe I am dumb but I don't get it
Lol at the loser Sonics fans who have nothing better to do than gloat on the NewsOk comments section while they type on a computer in their parents' basement. Really makes their fanbase look good.
