I think it's embarrassing that the players even attempted to give Stoops a Gatorade bath. Whether or not our downfall this season is Stoops' fault, he still doesn't deserve a Gatorade bath following an Insight Bowl win in a season in which many had us pegged to win the BCS NC.

I will admit I lost my **** in the stands when he doinked that attempt off the upright against Tex Tech. Not one of my finest moments. However, since then he has been freaking money. I think we have found a kicker.
Meh, why not? You win a bowl game, you get a gatorade bath. Someone of you are quickly forgetting that these are 18-22 year old kids we are talking about.
Oh **** off.
These guys are the ones putting in the time, the blood, the sweat and the tears and they love their coach. It was a disappointing season, but they get to have their fun, regardless of what eternal pessimist fans like you want to say.
In the time that they learned they would be going to the Insight Bowl, they've put in tons of hours of practice and they went out tonight and won. People like you make me laugh...incredulously.

It's just an aggy thing to do. Gatorade baths are supposed to be reserved for championships, not mediocre bowl games after disappointing seasons.
Overall, you gotta just be happy with the win. The season was a disaster, yet we won 10 games.... Let's hope we can turn it around next year and take care of business.

I don't exactly agree with what all you just said, but the guy you were responding to said some dumb ****ing bull**** about Stoops not deserving a gatorade bath. That's by far the dumbest **** I've heard. Stoops is the **** and we're so ****ing lucky to have him here.
I honestly expected that doinked that kick against Tech. That was not our game to win. But the kid is solid. When Jimmy lost his spot, it was Hunnicutt's all the way.
I'll can live with that.

I just don't feel like it's the time or place to do the dance of champions.. and by that I mean the gatorade bath. but oh well.. If you have no problem with it then you have no problem with it..
I'm just used to seeing coaches get the bath after conference titles, BCS titles, etc. Not Insight victories, Holiday bowl victories, etc.
Oh and if it makes you feel any better, I'm predicting OU to win it all next year
It was actually good to know the players were excited about winning. Finally showed some heart. I applaud the Gatorade bath!
