Lived in BA and I have a couple of dads I know their kids are on the team. He is good, and has the ability....the question on him is toughness

I went to a few of BA's games this year, one or two of them he played in. The final home game I saw, it sure seemed to me he has the size and speed to be a good college back. He made some good cuts. If he can stay out of trouble and keeps his commitment to OU he could make an impact. Of course he still has a senior year to play.

Either way, this is the most bizarre recruiting period I can remember in a while.

Espn has an article up explaining the decommit. Haven't had a chance to read it yet.
According to him at least, the OU coaches were disappointed. Might dispel the pulled offer thing, but again that's according to him, and obviously coaches can't comment.

So it kind of sounds like the kid is trouble. Don't want to p**** judgement, but if OU is pulling their offer at this point it seems like there would be some issues there.
I'm surprised we have that much time and effort for a guy a year away or more, given the mess that faces us at this point in time.
you can't just not work the 2014 guys just because we're having a bad 2013 (so far). anyhow gundy's an overachiever.
Recruiting is a 2-3 year game any more. If you're not on top of a kid by the time he ends his SO. yr it will put you behind the 8 ball later on.

Yeah, not too surprised about this development. OU yanked his offer due to the off the field issues and judging by what I have read on some of the other sites, the coaches are really putting an extra emphasis on character.

I, for one, am happy...and I hope OU has totally moved on from this kid. I imagine they pulled his offer.

This can only help with Starks and now Gundy can focus on Starks 100%. Plenty of depth at RB.
Starks is the get. We want him the most. Loved his game on Espn at the beginning of the year.

I honestly don't. The word from BA is that OU pulled his scholarship. So unless OU gets back involved, osu can have him.
