    Ah so, mutha fucka.

I read somewhere that he is considered the best RB prospect to come out of Texas since Peterson. That's pretty high praise.

So let's see, 2013 RBs will include Finch, Clay, Williams, Smith, Ross and I'm probably forgetting someone else.

Is Ford the type that can play immediately or does he red-shirt?

Seems like just yesterday that some guy was dogging Gundy.

He's just like Jackie Shipp. Both can recruit and coach; moreover, they are happy with their present positions. Glad we have them both.

I've dogged Gundy for being an ****. Never said he should not be on staff or was a bad recruiter.

That kid is good. Looks like greased lightning. Reminds of Demarco Murray with how versatile he is.

I'm happy we got Ford, but Texas absolutely murders us in in-state recruiting.

I think they wanted him but they are pretty set with what they have. The kid is actually from Florida so he has no burning desire to be a whorn. At OU most likely he would have a chance to start by year two in almost any scenario.

RB Keith Ford of Cypress, Tx (Cypress Ranch) is the verbal commitment OU has gained for the 2013 class.

So he doesn't redshirt in 2013? Plays, but just doesn't start?

We should have three seniors in 2013 at RB. That should be sufficient to redshirt him if need be. However, if he is as good or better than what we have, put him out there some as a frosh.

I also read where his school just started football about the time he got there from Florida and they didn't have a lot of help for this kid so he isn't coming from a program like Jenks or Union.
It sounds like he did a lot of his damage on his own.

I was about to post the same thing.....reminds me of DM7. And it looks like he already has good vision downfield and uses his blockers well. Hope he sticks with his commitment to OU. Welcome aboard, Keith.

He is the type of player that can play early and often as long as he works hard and stays in shape.

The kid is a beast so far. And being from the Houston area, he probably is the real deal!

I would say more of a Garrison Hearst or LaDainian Tomlinson type of back.

Have we lost our national recruiting edge? It seems like the only place we can get recruits from is Texas.

The man can coach and recruit his ass off. On the flip-side, even if he paid, I wouldn't drink a beer with him.

Maybe we should just recruit south and east Texas instead of Cali and all these other states? I mean.. Bobby Jack obviously has those areas buttoned down. :-)
