Good old meat, potatoes, and green chile

They really weren't bad... Boiled a chicken, added some stock & a can of low fat mushroom soup, raw veggies, HeartSmart Bisquick dumplings made with skim milk. Nothing else.
I made cioppino and served with toasted sesame bagel.
Went to a Japanese restaurant last night.
1. ****y Crunchy Scallop Nigiri
2. Asparagus Beef Wrap (Asparagus wrapped w/ thinly sliced beef in a garlic, ponzu, & japapeno sauce). Four wraps served in a skillet.
3. Fresh pineapple and bacon-wrapped salmon nigiri.
I don't have a pic for the scallop dish, but it was my favorite! All three were great, though.
Made spaghetti with home made meatballs for the kids.

I had a cup of Almond milk and a string cheese
Fish tacos with grilled mahi and a side of black beans.
Trying to do some so-so new york strips this weekend at the lake strictly using a camp fire. Any suggestions? I do have a grill grate and some big logs... but I'm tempted to cook them caveman style.
