Sounds like I'm doing it right then. Keep in mind I'm short (5'7") and old (51). Not a good combination for generating more distance. I've been playing with a guy who is in his sixties. Woo hoo! Just shot my best round ever on a course not named Putt-Putt. 74 on Cedar Valley International. Beat my best, that I shot on Friday, by 6 strokes. No wind and wet fairways make it easier. It will get tougher when the fairways return to their normal hard-pan selves, or when the wind decides to blow again.
Prices - you had better bring your A game on Friday, brother, or I am liable to kick your ****.

The gunkels will be down in a couple weeks to play in my dads tourney at Hefner South. Those guys can throw down some beer.
Well, back to earth. Shot 87 for my afternoon round. Too much heat and too much beer.

I played at The Greens yesterday. Shot an 80, drove the ball and putted well. But distance control was a little off with irons. Playing today at Twin Hills in a Oil field golf tournament. Nothing like FREE beer & alcohol, food, and lots scantly dressed women[or used to be been in past years]. Got police called one year down at Willow Creek CC because of naked beer wenches.
Playing Augusta yesterday afternoon I noticed 3 groups of older guys with a hot young thing tagging along playing caddie. Never seen that before. Is there someone out there running a service or something that hires out hot girls as caddies?

Just got back from Pebble Beach. If you haven't been, you have to go. The weather was amazing, it was about 65 degrees the entire trip. Played Pebble on Saturday and shot 75 from the US Open tees. Had it even par through 12 and made 4 bogeys in a row. Yesterday we played Spygl**** Hill. Spygl**** is simply amazing. It is more difficult than Pebble Beach, but not as scenic or historical. I shot 76 from the back tees. Played pretty well. The first 5 holes at Spygl**** are out by the ocean, and the last 13 are in a deep forest. Just an amazing trip. We were going to play Pasatiempo on Friday, but one the people I was with hurt his hip, so he didn't think he could play 54 in 3 days.
Pretty sure my team and your dad's team played together last year.

Played in tourney today at Rose Creek. Oh the joy of a playing a 6hr round, in a two man scramble, and your partner SUCKS. We never used any of his shots, he lost at 2 balls every hole, he had 19 clubs in his bag. I plan on kicking my friend **** for asking me to take his place. And not only did I have play with this ned bone, we were paired with a 80+ and a 70+ year old men, who were slow as molasses. The joys of golf!

Played with Soonerprices this afternoon. Great guy! For those of you that were thinking he is really a chick, he's not. But he left before I got a chance to take a spoon pic. Maybe next time.
It was like David (me, 5'7") and Goliath (him, 6'6"). Just like in the Bible, David started out slow. Goliath won the front nine. But David made a nice recovery on the back 9 and prevailed in the end.
Oh yeah, even though Prices is a Baptist, he will drink all your beer.

I was getting ready to head out to South Lakes in Jenks for my 2:00 lesson as I needed to get some minor kinks worked out, but found out it was at 1:30. So, I'm going out to White Hawk and try to slay the **** known as the back nine instead.
