I'm kind of sad nothing else has come out on this over about the last 3 days. I was hoping this story would keep on giving forever.

FAYETTEVILLE — Jessica Dorrell, whose relationship with Bobby Petrino became public knowledge and national news following a motorcycle accident earlier this month, has resigned, the University of Arkansas announced Tuesday.
Dorrell will received a $14,000 settlement with the university. The UA has no immediate plans to reopen the position, which will be filled by existing staff members for the time being, according to the release.

14 grand to leave a job the whole world knows she had no business getting? Seems like she is getting about $13,999 more than I would have given her.

Missouri and A&M's Big 12 exit fee thinks that Arky got off light.
I'm not so sure there was ****ual harassment. To constitute ****ual harassment, the conduct must be offensive or unwanted. Furthermore, some jurisdictions require the victim to affirmatively state that such conduct or actions are unwanted or offensive to the alleged tortfeasor. Here, nothing indicates that any of Petrino's actions were unwanted or offensive to Dorrell.
That being said, there are certainly loads of potential employment law issues and claims she may have arising from her employment, but I don't think this is a pure ****ual harassment case.

From the article..........In his letter asking to hire Dorrell, Petrino said the former volleyball player "had the best experience and we felt like she would be the BEST FIT for this POSITION."
You know you really can't make up anything any better than this statement.![]()
What everyone does not understand is the beautiful love between coach and mistress. That $14K has set them up in a garage apartment near Seminole, where she got a part time gig waiting tables and comforting him while he heals and makes plans. They will be fine. You ain't heard the last of this love story.

I would be willing to think that she is not so stupid to have nude photos taken of herself without a hefty up front payment and contract. She would be smart to lawyer up soon and go for all she can get. I think there will be a book and a movie, but the Piggy university will not be mentioned in them. They will probably have some mythical university called: Haughtbudt State University as a substitute for Arky U.
So wait, with this $14K and the Coach's gift of $20K, she made the average per capita income of Arkansas reeeeeeally easy.

Further confirmation today; 2 sources say to look for Garrick McGee to be announced at Arkansas no later than Monday
Phill fulmer stated his interest
Whoever they hire will leave someday in a spectacular **** pie of drama because that's what happens to all of their coaches.
Maybe they can bring Houston Nutt back.
In regards to McGee, he should take the that gig. It'd double his salary and he could milk the job for at least 4-5 years.
The downside is Petrino has recruited fairly ****ty the past two years considering the success they've had on the field. They'll have a good team this year because of the seniors still there but after they leave, say hello to the Memphis Bowl every year. Then, the fan base who thinks Arkansas should be a big power (despite no history of that) will start to have rallies and marches, file FOIA's, and engage in general jack ****edry.

Bobby Petrino’s firing causes boosters to write checks in support
The support for firing Bobby Petrino continues to roll in and now it's taken monetary form. On Wednesday, the Donald W. Reynolds foundation announced it was donating $1 million to help the school build its Student-Athlete Success Center. The gift was made in reaction to athletic director Jeff Long's decision to fire Petrino after he failed to disclose an inappropriate relationship with a subordinate employee whom he hired.
The foundation's chairman, Fred W. Smith, made a personal donation of $250,000 to the center and wanted to name the student-athlete development program the Jeff Long Student-Athlete Development Program.
Long was lauded for his handling of the Petrino situation and the leadership he demonstrated during last week's emotional press conference. Many believed Long's decision would not be popular, but Long has actually received a lot of support and this donation is just further proof of that.

"The courageous leadership demonstrated by Jeff Long in the course of recent events has further affirmed our confidence in his leadership and his vision for intercollegiate athletics at the University of Arkansas," Smith said in a statement. "Mr. Long acted with integrity and with the best interests of Razorback student-athletes and the University of Arkansas in mind."
See, something good can come out of a bad situation. Now if Arkansas could have the same luck in hiring a new football coach, the university could pretend the entire Petrino mess didn't happen.
Just think: if only Bobby decided to drunk drive with his mistress in a car rather than a ****ing motorcycle.
