Taker, HBK and Kevin Nash are doing a January 25th anniversary Raw. Probably just to do promos.

So War Games isn't really war games. No top on the cage. WWE made war games better by making it Elimination Chamber anyway but still it's not really war games.

WWE is going to screw up Velveteen Dream somehow. Enjoy him while he's great.

Brock vs AJ was great. Stole the show. Main Event was bad till Braun got over. Braun vs HHH needs to be at Mania, but it will probably be Angle vs Trips.

For a second there I actually thought Styles was going to win that match, great storytelling. Everything else was meh, who the hell gives a crap about SD vs Raw.

Charlotte vs Bliss was surprisingly good. But 6 hours is too much. Really 3 hours is too much.

So we'll probably see 2 Royal Rumble matches with all these women being added to Raw and Smackdown. I wouldn't be shocked if see Nikki Cross or Payton Royce and Billy Kay going up to the main roster by January.

I really don't get how WWE has continued to push their cruiser weight division week after week, and yet they can't develop anyone the crowd will get behind- other than Enzo, who they tried to bury for a while. Even WCW was better at showcasing cruiser weights than what WWE is doing currently.
I'd almost rather walk with Elias than watch another cruiser weight match...almost.

The problem with their crusierweight division is, they don’t have that many good wrestlers in it and the ones they have there is no story/good feuds behind them

It would look a lot better if they had some of these guys in it

    Ibushi
    Ricochet
    Sabre jr
    Osprey
    Gargano
    Almas

In WCW you were showcasing different styles. Now it's all the same style more or less. Just a few different moves.

So Matt Hardy is going broken finally. About 6 months too late. Probably going to die a slow death sadly.

  32. #7482
The Women's division seems to have moved back towards being the Divas again. There were some great matches with Charlotte and Sasha to the point they were main eventing Raw. Now they're basically back to being just another gimmick. Hopefully Paige and her new faction bring some much needed edge back to the ladies. Last night's show seemed promising.

Yeah, with a good mix of guys like Dean Malenko, Rey Mysterio, Eddie Guerrero, and Chris Jericho mixing in with guys like Ultimo Dragon, Juventud Guerrera, La Parka, and Psychosis, the WCW product was very innovative at the time. The 205 Live product seems like a watered down version with no good character development.

It would be really hard to match what WCW had, with Guerrero, Jericho and mysterio who are all time greats, plus not many had seen that Lucha style back then. But if they have no storylines or feuds it’s just a bunch of guys jumping off the top rope and doing flips like the 205 live is now

I've not watched enough 205 live to really see feuds and stuff. But I don't remember WCW doing a lot of feuds in Cruiserweights till Jericho vs Melinko maybe?

I really don't remember if it was Jericho vs Rey (ramming a box into rey's knee)or Melinko (list of a 1004 moves) feud that was first but prior to those I don't recall any.

Elias is probably the most promising wrestler on the roster not named Braun. You watch your God damn mouth.

I like Elias, he can actually work a crowd. One of WWE's main problems right now is that they don't really allow much character development or personalities to shine through. If they want 205 live to take off then they need to loosen up a bit and let the talent run.

Hey, I didn't says he's a bad worker, I just don't want to walk with him. That'd be weird and he'd probably want to walk down a dark alley together...

The simple old school buildup to Jericho vs Omega at NJPW wrestle kingdom has been better than anything WWE has done since wrestlemania in April to build a feud

Samoa Joe is out for a while also. Paige may be a manager for the 2 new girls but sounds like she is done as a performer.

Saw some video on it. Everyone is pissed at Banks, but if that was what caused additional injury......Banks may have saved her from being paralyzed at some point. They take WAYYY worse bumps than that.

She can probably be a great manager or even transition to small screen. She's good on the mic. (No pun intended)
