I don't think that's automatically the case, especially here. Taylor was recovering from an injury, and it's been reported that had he not been hurt, he'd have gotten his offer around the same time as DJ Ward.

Su'a Cravens isn't coming here. Hawkins in Cali isn't coming here either

We are in good standing with Cole Luke out of Arizona and Eric Huhn out of Texas. I expect our DB recruiting to have a local flare this year

I'll take Taylor anyday of the week as a CB.

His new coach, Bobby Klinck, is a former OU player who transferred to Tulsa because he was deep on the depth chart. He was a 2001 recruit as a safety, and played a little in 2002 before transferring.
