Alot of the same offers, could be they want to play together in college.
Let's hope we can get them on campus together and let our Cali Trio do their thing. These three could be the Fresno Cali East Central Trio.
It must be hell for HS offenses to go against a secondary like this.
Mike is on the prowl for 2000-like DBs. Whether it's these guys or someone else, we are gonna bring in some nasty DBs in this cl****.
This cl**** is going to be nice. I think we are getting on the right track. I think we finish in the top 5 this cl****.
Bob Przybylo@BPrzybylo
#Sooners not done in Cal making DB offers. Latest #OU offer is safety Tyler Foreman
USAO or anybody, we have a shot at Tee Shepard? 2012 guy, but has backed out of attending ND. GREAT prospect, from the same highschool as these 3 I believe.
Per Scout tweet/ Free Info
RT @GregBiggins #Oklahoma will host Fresno (Calif.) Central trio in October for official visit
ND weekend

usa,
that's great news.
huge weekend.
Media all over Norman. Prime time ABC likely. Gameday.
OU will bring in all their local verbals I bet as well for that weekend.
Maybe even kids like Bryant and Ahmad Thomas as well if possible.

What if we got all three of them? That would fill Mike's quota for the DB's. It would be so awesome!!!
Hatari Byrd
@HBizzy559
Top 5... UCLA,Oklahoma sooner,Washington husky,Georgia,Cal

Johnny Johnson is going to be Hale's radio show tomorrow.
OU appears to be making a move with him too.
Byrd, Johnson, and Moore would pretty much end DB recruiting.
RT @GregBiggins Fresno DB Hatari Byrd will commit next month, said #UCLA and #Oklahoma lead, he'll visit #Washington end of the month

OU has done well on the West Coast but it's always hard to pry those kids away from a Cali school. Are these kids a package or will they split up? Didn't know if they had some sort of pact between them.
If they are a package deal, then it looks like it will be between OU and UCLA. When looking at the 3 players bio, only OU and UCLA are at the top or medium choices. I have a feeling they will split with 2 going to the same school and one going somewhere else.
Byrd
RT @HBizzy559 Those who want to know what college I'm going to spend my next 3 to 4 years u will soon to find out
I don't know ****, but it doesn't sound good that he's ready to commit before taking an official visit here
We are tied with Cal for LJ.Moore and in Hatari Byrds top 5 (along with Arizona State,Washington,UCLA,CAL) per ESPN insider article
These two are confirmed for the ND game
No update on Johnny Johnson at the moment
Hatari Byrd committed

There is another DB out of Fresno for the cl**** of 2014 that OU offered. Michiah Quick.. supposed to be better than the 3 from the 2013 cl**** out of Fresno.
However, I get the feeling that we will land LJ Moore as well. Jalen Saunders and Moore talk alot so that should be good and lean towards our favor. Johnson on the other hand, will most likely go somewhere else.
LJ Moore will be visiting Texas Tech today, they're making a strong push in recruiting. Hopefully though, we smoke them and he comes away from the game impressed with OU. I'll keep an eye out for articles after the weekend to see how his trip was.

Yeah im starting to get excited about our defensive back prospects. Looking for some commitments over the next 2 weeks.
Then again i was really pumped about K**** Everett committing. He's been a no show thus far except for today when he got pulled and reamed on national television. Hopefully he can turn it around by next fall.
Also, does anyone have any info on who is visiting for the RRR next weekend?
I've heard a few names but nothing for certain.
LJ Moore

Oklahoma Looked Pretty Good Defensively

Exactly what I was hoping for, Moore could play CB or S in our defense. Very versatile, great athlete!
I think I'm just going to hang out in the recruiting forum most of the time. Great info here.
@JBret, I agree on Moore/Colvin comparison. Chevoski Collins announces tomorrow and I think he could be a hybrid CB/S too if he chooses OU. Get Moore/Collins then get Robbins or Luke or JJ Jr. and that is one sick DB cl****. Of course if we get 6 DB's Taylor may flip to offense, no? Interesting to see how it plays out.
I know this is highly scientific, but what does anyone think/know about our chances with Johnson. He's an elite CB and would be a huge get. I know he's visiting but does he have a top 5? Anyone know who the favorite is for him?
I think whether or not Taylor gets a shot at WR had a lot to do with whether Hurst and Jefferson come back. If they're gone, Taylor goes straight to db... Besides that, if Gardner and stills are in the rotation along with Reynolds, that will do it too.
JBret I think you mean Colvin. Hurst is graduating. If Simon and Sanchez are worthy of playing time then maybe but we are going to be very young and/or inexperienced at corner next year if Colvin leaves. We need to replenish the talent and depth on D. Colvin and Jefferson staying for their senior years would def help in this are****
L.J. Moore - Moore is a very fluid athlete with a great ability to press at the line. He will take some visits but Oklahoma, UCLA and Notre Dame appear to be on the short list. If I had to make my pick here I'd have to go with the Sooners once again, but it will be interesting how they fit all these defensive backs into the cl****.
John Johnson - Moore's teammate Johnson also has a similar list but I don't expect the two to end up together. The way I see it, Moore will end up at Oklahoma with fellow safety teammate Hatari Byrd and Johnson will blaze his own trail to UCLA. All are tremendous players and will be quality pickups for their respective schools.

I'll take 2 out of the 3. Same article predicting good things for us and Cole Luke *see his thread for that
Are we out of the running for LJ Moore? Even if he wasn't interested in OU, you'd think he'd want to come if he's interested in Notre Dame. Now he's just staying home. Hard to make sense of that.
LJ Moore will be taking an OV to OU on January 11th.
