I love me some Tarantino
I have an urge to watch Kill Bill now and it's not on Netflix streaming![]()
Christoph Waltz FTW.

Looked good until the :54 mark.
Excited
trailer #2
Kerry Washington is smokin' hot.
Not sure about this one. Since I heard about this movie, I always thought back to the old Italian Django flick. I'm confused.
But after the second trailer and considering they used some of the original theme song? I'm in! Plus Samuel L. and Jonah Hill? And I hear RZA and Tom Wopat are in it as well. Sweet.
Has anyone seen the original Django movies? Thoughts?
Gonna catch the 7pm show if the roads aren't bad.

I heard there's an abundance of the N word and violence in this movie. It's all ok because Jamie Foxx is ok with it. No hypocrisy there because of Foxx****
I was excited to see it until Foxx started babbling idiocy.

No thanks. Since society says I am not allowed to be racist, I will not support a racist.

Saw that this morning. I don't understand it. There are tons of movies about WWII yet they aren't considered disrespectfully to Jewish ancestors. Why does Spike think that Django is disrespectful? From what the looks of the trailer it doesn't glorify slavery, it appears to do the opposite. A slave fighting back against his owners seems like he should be a hero for Spike. So it comes down to the "N" word but he doesn't want to come out and say it. You make a movie that takes place in a certain time in history but instead of talking like they did during this time you must take out all offensive words and pretend it never happened. .
Going to the 1:40 show in Frisco. I expect greatness.

Now internal conflict enters. Don't see it because Foxx is a racist or go see it because Spike is a racist. Hmmm. What to do.

Ultra violent with great moments of humor. The whole cast is great. Its a over the top true spaghetti- western. Its a Tarantino classic
I was entertained.
I thought it was excellent.
"For all its pleasures, Django Unchained feels too easy, too dead-center in Tarantino’s comfort zone. He’s not challenging himself in any way that matters. He has become his own Yes Man."
Will definitely watch this movie.
I saw it today and really liked it. Acting was fantastic and if you like QT then it is a must see.
I can't wait until he makes a movie that's not an homage.
The scene with the klansmen was hilarious.

****ing excellent movie. Will Smith turned down the role and I'm glad, because after seeing it I could not imagine it played by him. Foxx did better than expected. Waltz was great. Maybe my favorite actor since Inglorious ****s came out. Very good film. Even DiCaprio did well.
