The talent has always been there. It's always been a question of his work rate on every play (i.e. not taking plays off). Hopefully with some proper coaching, no disrespect to his high school and junior college, he will develop into a great player.

I was going say that I don't see any of the trolls who have been calling for Jackie's head on a platter on this thread congratulating him.

I've always said that Shipp was an excellent coach AND recruiter. He's showing it again.

Remember that last year, the coaches decided to only go after the elite DTs, and, if they didn't get any of them, they would p****, b/c Shipp got 4 the year before.

Basically he signed to be an early enroll from what I understand. Which makes him a free agent because he didn't graduate on time.
