No you just remarked that it's hard to understand outside of Oklahoma. I get it. Stores are empty. Roads are clear. People are out cutting their gr**** if the game is a laugher by halftime. I gotcha... I know that the Thunder games are pulling bigger local TV numbers than OU football. So, in a sense, YES... just about everyone IS in a Thunder spell. The only appreciable demo NOT watching the Thunder games are OKC residents that just don't give a **** about sports... and they sure as hell aren't going to a college baseball game.
You know, I was very curious on this. I was like "sell out? Please." So, I went to look at the numbers. You're actually not far off.
Pre-Thunder
2000-2008: average OKC attendance: 18 games - 9,363 (lowest: 6680, 2001) (also, only once under 7,000 in attedance in those 18 games)
2009-present: Post-Thunder: 10 games - 6,661 (lowest: 4283, 2012) (also, only over 9,000 in attendance once in those 10 games)
That mound sure looks high. Maybe it's the camera angle.

Up 4-1 heading to the 5th. The 1st inning on Friday night is the only inning this entire series so far that Kansas State has only sent three batters to the plate. Had at least one runner on every inning since then. Ugh.
Doesn't really matter, but we win the final game 7-3. Hooray 4th place finish.

Division Two: No. 6 Kansas vs. No. 3 West Virginia - 4:00 p.m. CT; No. 7 TCU vs. No. 2 Oklahoma State - 7:30 p.m. CT
We won't last long in post season if we don't figure this out.
We got a decent draw for the tourney. We don't have OSU or WVU on our side so that could be a good thing. Lets hope for the best!

I'm so glad we still have Sunny. We might get to a super regional with a top five draft pick at pitcher.
