We've had 5 star dt and de that were just as good when they graduated. As they were when they stepped on campus

Ok? Obviously our evaluating isnt going that great. We miss on our 5 stars and end up playing a bunch of mediocre 2-3 stars who rarely pan out. Did you watch us this year when we played any team with a pulse?

Nvm. You guys are right, our staff has done a great job evaluating talent and recruiting talent to Norman. Our on the field dominance supports this.

He is more like an under the radar recruit of the type that OU has had so much success with.
Many of OU’s very best players who played on national championship teams were not highly recruited coming out of high school.

If our coaching staff has done a good job in the evaluating this prospect and there are indications that they have, this player should be a good player for us and play well after a redshirt year.

We really needed this kid, and most of us have been hoping we would get him. I do not get a lot of the sentiment on this thread. Seems to me we just have a bunch of douches posting these days.

The Rivals guys are adamant that he'll be at least a three-star tackle when their ratings are updated. Just yesterday they said this:

"Walker's talent is truly elite, I think he is a 100 kid but the injuries are going to concern people - four stars are possible but we'll see."
