If we do anything, it will likely be a small trade using Maynor and maybe a combination of draft pick, PJIII, and Lamb. But I don't see anything that makes sense.
2 thoughts I don't think people are really thinking when they're suggesting trades:
1. I don't see any way that Presti can really reconcile going into the luxury tax this season (and we're a shade over $1M away) unless a championship is almost guaranteed (there is no trade scenario that does that)
2. I think many times GMs make trades to appease their core players into being more content with their situation. I think everyone on the OKC roster believes they can win it all with what they have. I don't think KD and RW are thinking "Man, Presti better go get us a big/backup PG or we're done with OKC come next contract".
Ride out this year, and see how things play out in the playoffs and if you make a move, make it in the off-season where you have plenty of time to think it through, and then after it's made, you have a year to make the changes fit.

If Maynor has gone to Presti and asked to be traded to a team so that he can play, I think Presti would accommodate that because E has been nothing but cl**** since getting benched.

I can see that if the Presti could get something of value in return. Otherwise, I don't see Presti trading a guy for nothing just because the player wants to go somewhere to get playing time. The problem is I don't think we can get much for just Maynor. Sounds like, at most, he would fetch a measly 2nd round pick.
Dean Blevins just mentioned 2 Thunder trade rumors:
1. Eric Maynor, Kendrick Perkins and Jeremy Lamb for Big Al Jefferson, UTAH
2. Eric Maynor & TOR pick for PG Will Bynum, DET
I'm a big Perk fan but I like rumor #1... I really do... Big Al can hurt the Heat down low
Hmmm, I haven't heard a word from any of the main NBA writers about Big Al to the Thunder, not even Chris Broussard who has been pulling stuff out of his **** and throwing everything against the wall in the hopes that something sticks in a desperate attempt to stay relevant.
There is a bubble at Britton and Broadway Extension from which no information can escape. The only news that ever leaks involving the Thunder originate from the other teams or agents involved.
But Dean effing Blevins has the scoop? Yeah right. I would put the percentage at zero.
Dean Blevins tries to be more than he is

Even though its crazy, the thought of Al Jefferson's post scoring talents on this teams are scary good
I love Big Al, but as mentioned earlier, he makes a lot of money.
Im still seeing the Gortat and PJ Tucker for Lamb, Perkins, and Tor pick being discussed quit a bit. Seems to be picking up steam.

Al Jefferson would be the best pickup for the Thunder but I dont know if they can afford him. Marcin Gortat would be a cheaper option that would be way more productive than Perkins.
However if they trade for Al Jefferson that means they wouldn't be able to keep Kevin martin or he has to take a significant pay cut to remain with OKC.
Perk strained his knee yesterday in practice and won't play tonight. Interesting timing for that type of injury![]()
Writing on the wall for Perk? I hope it's for Jefferson and not Gortat.

Rumored 3 teamer between Phoenix, Atlanta, and OKC. OKC gets Gortat, Jermaine O'Neal, and Jeff Teague. OKC loses Perk, Lamb, Maynor, and 1st round pick.
if that were true, I would be very happy.
Thabeet is starting over Perkins tonight.....
I can't get that rumored trade to work in the Trade Machine, and Darnell just tweeted that it was a league rumor not discussed between the teams.
I'd lay all my vCash that we don't make a (major) move before the trade deadline. (If we get rid of Maynor and a non-toronto pick, then maybe).

LehhhhhhGoooo
There you go Ibak****
Houston just played the best quarter of basketball they've played all season. We'll win this by 10+.
Ibaka is just balling now
That was a horrible charge against Houston. Martin definitely inside the circle.
This game is a case study of how great our ball handling is.
Watching KD intentionally defer is so awkward. It's working for sure, but it just feel so unnatural. Like **** ****.
