NBA league pasd has been free for the past week. Of course I hear about it the final day.
He currently is. He was great 3 years ago but now he's a shell of what he was. Maybe it's health, maybe it's attitude, maybe it's mental but the dude is not a player you build a team around anymore.
What year did he not become top tier? B/c his averages this year have been pretty dang close to his career numbers. plus he is hurt.
Halfway thru the 3rd and Kobe is at it again, has more more ****ists (10) than shot attempts (8)
Kobe has been pretty good over the last few games. He's breaking people down off the dribble and getting Pau and Dwight their shots in close.
I think teams should start putting their best defender on Kobe, and not helping so much on him. If he drives, and gets past his guy, make him finish it. I'd rather take that chance and have Kobe finish a game with 40 pts and not get Howard going with easy buckets, and watch him cry about not getting touches.
Long way to go, but they look like they are starting to figure things out a little bit... but having said that, they caught OKC at the end of a tough road trip, where Westbrook was ice cold and KD missed every shot down the stretch, and then last night they almost let a big lead slip away to the Hornets. They need to win on the road and not get back to LA still at 4 or 5 games below .500.
I predict some calls will go against them on the road... like 3 seconds on Dwight Howard who was just camping in the lane all night last night. I counted to 5 once with a ref standing right by him and New Orleans players yelling "3 seconds!"

I watched the first half. Howard looked pretty good but I think it was mainly because he was up against Robin Lopez, and the Hornets are pretty young and weak overall. All his points were right at the basket, and he actually made his free throws.

The Memphis Grizzlies and Toronto Raptors have agreed in principle on a trade that will send leading scorer Rudy **** to the Raptors, according to sources with knowledge of the deal.
Sources told ESPN.com that the Grizzlies will acquire forward Ed Davis and veteran guard Jose Calderon from the Raptors and then move Calderon on to a third team to ultimately make this a three-team deal.
The Detroit Pistons, sources said, are one of the prime options to take on Calderon, having pursued the Spanish floor leader all season.
The Grizzlies want a small forward out of the trade and Detroit has two believed to be available: Tayshaun Prince and Corey Maggette. But Memphis, sources said, is talking to at least one other team about taking on Calderon and is expected to receive a second-round pick from Toronto as part of the deal.
The Raptors, sources said, are expected to take on Grizzlies reserve center Hamed Haddadi in addition to ****.
The Dallas Mavericks are the other most likely landing spot for Calderon, but sources said Dallas is resistant to parting with Vince Carter, Memphis' prime target on the Mavs' roster.
Holy ****, I can't believe Memphis traded Rudy **** to Toronto. Especially after, they got done trading Mareese Speights, Wayne Ellington, and Josh Selby to Cleveland to clear up some cap room. Thought this trade to Cleveland meant Memphis was going to keep **** long-term. It doesn't make sense to me considering they're still in contention for the Western Conference.

Yeah I saw that. I think that hurts them. That's a good core they had, but losing **** means Z Bo and Gasol will really have to perform every night.

Memphis front office is ****ing ****ed. First they treat Love like he's a scrub and then they get rid of ****, what are they trying to accomplish exactly?

**** wasn't having a good season, and the Grizz couldn't justify his contract for what he was doing. Ed Davis is going to be a bigger name playing in Memphis. But now we only have one real small forward and no backup center.
