I can tell you from having a front row seat to two badly run franchises that it's terrible. I can't imagine how it is on the players that want to win. As a fan it just finally pushes you to the point of not caring and turning your passion, emotion, etc., elsewhere.Originally Posted by Boognish

Never really been a big D Wade fan.
He's good, but in my opinion almost every team has a guy like Wade. Then there's Lebron, Kobe (maybe not so much any more), KD... those guys are on another level.
The Heat's first title over Dallas I thought was bull****, and since then I don't watch the NBA the same way. Dallas was up 2-0, and dominating game 3. Then the refs swallow their whistles on one end and give Wade and Shaq every call, and the Heat come back and win. This nonsense continued throughout the rest of the series, notably a game 5 which saw Wade shoot 25 free throws, the last two with 1.9 seconds on the clock when he didn't even get touched.
Mavericks owned Miami that season, and got hosed in the Finals.

It's going to be interesting what Vinny does once everyone is healthy. Their starters are very good but that second unit is better than some first units. And their weak spot, jordan, seems to be developing a pretty good offensive low post game. And Odom finally seems to be coming around and getting his game in shape. This could be an interesting year.
