I just picked up that tasty little glock 26 on the previous page and ****ing love it! I'm gonna pick up a glock 19 soon as well.
Just get a 9mm barrel for your 23... lone Wolf has one for less than 100 bucks. Then you can shoot 9mm out of your glock 23!

That one is not mine. I have the same stock, rail system and a flashlight/laser. The rail system is only 14 ounces so it adds very little weight. Don't have an optic for it right now. If I decide to put one on it will be a red dot sight of some sort.
I basically bought the rail system just for the hell of it. I was looking to replace the bead sight with a night sight and could not find anything that would fit my model. Came across the rail system on sale and, since I like toys, bought it. Took about 10 minutes to install. You just basically use a clamp between the barrel and receiver tube and replace a couple of pins and it's installed. Easy to come off.

Should I get the shotgun or the rifle first? I cant get both right now, as I just got the new Glock 26 a few weeks ago.
If you're going to shoot it a lot, get the rifle. If you are getting it for home protection, get the shotgun.
Skip the 22LR. There's nothing to work up to. An AR in 5.56 is one of the easiest rifles to shoot. If you want a 22LR plinker, get a Ruger 10/22 for a little over 100 bucks. If you want an AR style rifle, get a 5.56. JMO
i already told him to get an ar-15 and if he wants to shoot .22lr with it to get the cmmg bolt.

Handgun, it would be the Springfield operator 1911. It costs a little more than 1k but is a fine piece of equipment. Rifle, I would build another ar.

I'm leaning to a 1911, but not quite sure I want to splurge for the Springfield. A buddy is trying to talk me into the p226 saying, "If it's good enought for the seals..."
i went to the store intending to buy a glock....but after holding it......(it felt like holding a 2x4).....i quickly moved on....
it was a tough decision between the p226 and the cz75....but i chose the sig

When will bulk 223/556 ammo be available again? Can't find anything rigt now unless you are willing to pay a small fortune.
I had one. Traded it for the p239 in .40.

I picked up a Beretta 92FS today. Solid shooter, pretty dammn accurate. 350 rounds of Blazer Br**** made their way home with me and I ordered 100 rounds of Buffalo Bore 147gr +p+ jhp's and some Hogue wrap around grips from Midway, should be here within a week.

rugers semiautos are decent, bu i've never messed with their wheel guns, although i've never heard anything bad about them.
Depends on what you want it for.
That was my first pistol. I wish I still had it. Big gun but shot amazingly well. Of course, a 17 inch barrel helps with that.
Glock 20 can't go wrong with 10mm
Very occasional target practice, and maybe taking a ccl cl**** to carry on longer road trips that I have to take the company vehicle on. Maybe vacations that we take the car. Seriously considering a mossberg 500 for the house. The house alarm should be enough, but people seem to be getting crazier these days.
Get the Mossberg... And check out my glock 26 on the previous pages. I loooooove it, 9mm, good for ccl, not crazy expensive to shoot, etc.etc. right in your price range
