They're all basically the same. You won't go wrong purchasing one over the other.. The grip length is short so if you don't have an extension, your pinkie will not fit on the grip but that is a pretty cheap fix. Just look up Pierce extensions for glock. If you want the ability to adjust the grip size, get the Gen 4. If price is a concern, get the cheapest one.Originally Posted by Sooners2007

um, so you can see the sights at night. they use tritium, which is radioactive and glows in the dark, on the sights so you can acquire them with relative ease in the dark. if you have to draw your weapon at night it helps to be able to aim it.
So its that significant of a difference... OK I can dig it
that's why most police agencies buy their hand guns with night sights.
They don't come with ****ing clips. They are called magazines. Carry on.

Picked this up a few days ago. I put the Pachmayr's on it. Haven't shot it yet, but have heard good things about them.

One argument I've heard against night sights is that in very low light situations the glow from the night sights is bright enough that it obscures things in the background that you may be able to see without them. I had to put in nighttime work at the range when I was in OK regularly and never noticed it as a problem, but we were never in true dark situations.
If its that dark you can probably flee the scene and call the cops.

I have some Hogues. They've held up really well.
I have Hogue grips on my AK and Ruger and had them on my 1911 when I had it. I love me some Hogues. I'm thinking about using those Pachmayr grips as the start of some custom grips.
Personally I don't put hogues on sidearms. Not a fan of anything that will snag or cause friction which would prevent a clean, quick draw. Imo there is nothing wrong with the grips on the glock.

I use the talon rubber grips on my carry guns, Glock 23 and M&P 40c. They really help on the M&P since that un is a little jumpy. Do not get the skate tape grips if you CC because it will tear you up.

Has anyone ever shot a Chiappa Rhino? The long barreled ones are ugly as sin, but I'm very interested to see the extent to which the barrel position actually negates recoil. Haven't found a gun range around me that has one. Interesting concept though.

Opinions on Glock 17 vs Glock 19? I've got a 27 Gen 4 .40 S&W that I like, but am looking for a 9mm now. Thoughts?
The 17 is just bigger than the 19. Do you want a full size or a compact?

I have a Crossbreed Supertuck and a White Hat Max Tuck - it is basically the same holster but made here in DFW and you can customize it which is cool.
I have a Remora for my Sig p238 and I like it a lot when wearing shorts or no belt.
