OU Hockey beats Oakland 5-4 in OT to advance to the quarter finals! Will play the winner of #3 Minot State and #14 Central Oklahoma. Which will probably be Minot, they lead 4-0 in the third period.

How do they finance the Hockey Team? Do the players put out the money for coaches, practice time, travel etc? Seems like it would cost a small fortune to play at the club level for OU. Can not imagine they get crowds like on the East Coast, Big 10 or in the Upper Midwest, MT states.
