So far the stories right now are very depressing...the economy is slowing again, homeless people are being threatened over boots, israel is destroying everything, and Meni has convinced us all that god has no control because it doesn't exist...therefor i wanted to start something a little more positive and i will begin with this video...feel free to add something positive

That's what makes me so "interesting."

The whoa was just because, at a time on a Monday morning when I've only had one cup of coffee, I wasn't expecting to see the word anhedonic posted here. It was a shock to the system. Not a bad shock, but sort of like looking out the window and seeing a squirrel trying to hotwire the neighbor's car. You have to spend a few minutes letting your senses take it all in.

Since no one has anything positive to share, this thread is now about deviant squirrels.

Thanks. That'll be very comforting once my afternoon pills kick in.

I guess I really should get a dog. Probably help keep those damn thieving squirrels out of the neighborhood.

Since Asperger's is getting a bad rap these past few days, I'll post a couple of text message exchanges with my son who has Asperger's. He's 5 years old. His reading and writing skills are very impressive for a 5 year old, but typical of an Aspie.

Both times I thought I was talking to my wife, she lets him play Bad Piggies on her phone while she's taking him to school, he loves that game. I was sending her messages and he decided to reply both times.

I find it "troubling" that he went linear on the keystrokes when a zigzag is the obvious choice. qwertyuioplkjhgfdsazxcvbnm makes much more sense. LOL

So, I know this is related to the tornadoes, but....the story and pictures of this pet reunion just made me so happy.

    http://www.lifewithdogs.tv/2013/05/r...th-her-family/

Sadie was found in a tree after Monday’s tornado that devastated Moore, OK. She was taken to the Central Oklahoma Humane Society, where she got widespread attention after a photo of her looking forlorn was posted at Facebook, and people as far away as Texas and Michigan were prepared to foster the sweet, displaced sheltie until her family could be found.

Sadie’s family saw the photo and called the shelter. Once shelter staffers had her name, they called out “Sadie” and she perked right up, helping to confirm her identity while the family member was still on the phone.

Kyrie Malmberg wrote this morning, “My mom got her dog back. She cried when they brought Sadie out. It was amazing see her reunited with her four legged companion.”

Kyrie says Sadie is very happy to be back with her family and has not left the mother’s side.

    Here's another good one:

There's a happy ending to the story of a dog, found alive in the rubble after a massive tornado devastated Moore, Oklahoma: she's been reunited with her owner.
Because "Susie" was found standing guard over a body, officials believed she belonged to one of the victims of the storm:
"CSO deputy searching for victims found a 12-year old Schipperke-Border Collie mix standing guard over a deceased male inside a house in Moore. The deputy convinced the dog to leave the side of the deceased victim, and eventually made sure the pup was taken to an emergency tornado animal shelter."

Sorry. I knew on Dec 17, 2012 that you would someday have a puppy who was murdered, so I posted this one on that day as part of an evil plan to make you feel bad.

I was introduced to the Robin Thicke "Blurred Lines" video that was unrated and sat on YouTube getting likes for a month with half naked super hot chicks in it before it was pulled.

Instant good start to the day.

I'm pretending to work until early afternoon. But I told the "others" that I was just a hologram sitting in my chair so they won't bother me. And there is beer in my future; I can feel it.
