There's a food truck in Dallas -- Cool Haus, I think they may have started in Austin -- that has a Guinness ice cream cookie sandwich. Quite good.
id try it. i enjoy guiness and i enjoy ice cream. how can you go wrong
i don't know why it would taste bad, it would be kind of like an irish car bomb, which are delicious.
Made a beer float with Samuel Smith's Imperial Stout and 3 flavors of gelato: toasted almond, double dark chocolate, and Tahitian vanilla bean. It sounds ridiculous but it's amazing.
I've had a guiness float before and it is ok but I just like the beer better alone, however I love sweet honey bakalava ice cream topped with Irish cream
I mean...Guinness is not *that* good that you can't **** with it... I don't know that many beers are. Best thing about beer is that it's generally cheap enough and plentiful enough.
