There used to be a Korean diner / donut shop on Kickapoo, south of OBU & kind of across the street from where the Greatful Bean was (north of Federal). Not sure if it's sill there, but it was unique.

No. Just leave. That place is turrble. I was forced to live there for 6 months. Will never go back. Won't even stop for gas there. *shivers*

The original Van's BBQ is on Highland, a block north & few blocks east of the courthouse.

I recommend Benton's Cafe on Broadway downtown.

Unique in that they still make scratch pies, fried chicken, and such.

Oh. Billy Bob's (or Billy Boy's?) is on Independence about 2 blocks east of Kickapoo. It's okay. Good kid food & dessert. My gran always loved their dumplings. Good salad, too.

They are open Saturday...second would be Van's (food is the same as other Van's though), Hamburger King IS awesome, but it is just burgers.

HK is an old-fashioned "greasy spoon" type burger place. You sit down at a table and place your order via a phone that is at every booth. They do have more than just burgers.
