Taylor University students participate in one of the coolest traditions in all of college sports as the Trojan fans sit in complete silence until Taylor scores its tenth point of the game... then the fans go CRAZY! I would love to see the Students do this at LNC, but that would require them to actually go to the games... This is absolutely bad ****...

Bishop McGuinness here in OKC did this at one of their games last year. Wasn't near as cool but now I understand why they gave it a try.

Pretty cool. too bad I'm too old to blend into the crowd and experience that. That'd be a fun road trip.

Get used to it. I have a feeling it's the new Macarena.
My first two years were at a school very similar to size and scope to Taylor. I played baseball there. We had all kinds of these traditions (not nearly as cool as that, though) because it was like a big family, honestly. I could see how that could happen at a school that size where everyone knows everyone and people like to party their ****es off. (By the way, that school was a HUGE party school, too. Not sure if Taylor is or not.)
You couldn't get something like that through at a big university because it's impossible to create an event where everyone feels a part of it. That's what makes those small schools work.
A major drawback: There's zero chance to bang a chick and never see her again.
There's a reason I left the small, liberal arts school, but there were some really cool things about it.
