Buy a '98 Vette or GTFO.

If you buy a tow truck, you're cool ****.

My nephew bought his BMW in Plano. Paid ca. $24k for ca. 23k miles. Can't remember the model but it is a nice car.

that and now that we are 3 weeks out until the new year, you won't be getting any deals on suvs. people are paying top dollar for the tax deduction and I heard Hurricane Sandy has cause a vehicle shortage.

I would suggest a Toyota Sequoia Platinum. My wife had an Armada Platinum and had nothing but trouble.

I like toyotas better too, but if I were going in the Nissan family, I wouldn't pay 20% more fore a nameplate.

i've heard complaints about the rear door handle being too high for kids to reach. that was a few years ago though, so maybe that's been addressed. and obviously not relevant if your kids are older.

my kids were older when i bought mine.....but if they couldn't reach them....you just open the door for them.....no big deal...
i used to open their door when they were small and i had a mini van...

actually....the new qx's have door handles in the usual locations.......no longer up high..

how do the toyota's seats fold down?
nice thing about the qx.....it has a rear independent suspension so the second and third row seats fold completely flat ...
    makes a huge cargo area....

    Go with the Infiniti.

It has the most "Christmas tree hauling capacity" in its cl****

The Toyotas seats fold completely down. My wife's Armada had AC issues for the back seat passengers. The tech said it was operating as designed but went as far as saying the design was inferior to the chevy, gmc and toyota. He suggested that we even put one of the window sunshades in the front window to help with temperature control and to prevent the leather seats from cracking. He claimed that there had been numerous cases of the seats falling apart due to the heat.

My business partner bought a 2011 for his wife and she hated it. It sucked gas and she felt it was too ****bersome. He sold it and bought a new GL which his wife loves.

It had some pretty cool features though. Also, it seems like i remember there being some cl**** action lawsuit against Nissan for misrepresenting the mileage. Seems like my partner's wife got around 9 in the city.

I get 13-14 in city. 17 or so on highway. She must have a lead foot.

We have had a GL and ML and like the new Infiniti a lot better. More options and more space along with a better looking interior. At least that is like our opinion, man.

  34. #34
^^^^it came down to the GL or the infiniti for me...the GL did not seem to be as kid friendly (plus the body style is slightly changing in 2013 and I never buy a vehicle in the first year of a new model) happy so far.
