Awesome! How does Jefferson not make it?
Jefferson was a 2nd team All-American.
I may be wrong but I think Colvin was honorable mention.
Deserved!
Honestly the pair of corners we have this season are second to none in CFB at least as far as I am aware. Colvin and Demontre are ****ing studs and I suspect both will also enjoy successful careers playing on Sunday when their time comes. Would be awesome if Colvin hangs on 1 more year even though I think he is ready if he bulks up a tad heading into the combine/draft.

if you aint first team, you no team.

Are you sure Colvin didn't get named co defensive cordinator with Brent Venables? That's what I'm hearing.
The interesting thing about Colvin making all these lists is that they are based on his statistics.
Why does he have great statistics? Because Hurst is so good, people don't throw on him, yet they consistently throw on Colvin and 3rd down. ND ate him alive on the short out patterns on 3rd down.
Sorry I stand corrected...Colvin was honorable mention and Jefferson was 2nd team--Congrats to both!
I really hope Colvin comes back next year...think T Jeff is gone....Colvin is best corner we have had since Strait...
I agree on a gut feeling about T-Jeff leaving. An NFL GM is also going to embarr**** himself this coming April if/when he drafts that no tackling, ****-clown Kenny Vaccaro when T-Jeff is sitting on the board still.
Colvin is the most talented CB we have had in the Stoops era IMO.
I think Colvin will be special in the NFL as I have not seen a College CB play so much man and have the consistent ability to stay in quality WR's pockets since that one Island guy that played for Pitt() a few years back.
The thing is Hurst might be the 2nd best NFL CB Stoops has churned out when it is all said and done. The team that drafts Colvin will be getting a top CB for years and years.

I've never seen an All-American get picked on as much and fail to break up so many passes within arms reach.

I hope they move back Colvin to safety next year. We seem to be stacked at CB with Simon, Johnson, and Tee Shepard ready to start. We're very thin at safety.

LOL @ AJ McCaron as 3rd Team QB. The SEC/Alabama suckfest is ridiculous.
I really hope he does come back.
