I remember Bud. He also was a defensive back I think.
He was the fastest guy on the team at the time. JC Watts tells the story about how he beat all the bruthas in a 100 yard dash challenge match. Same story is in Bootlegger's Boy.
He's older than me (52) but sure looks a lot younger than I do.
I remember him #33 he was a pretty good player for us.
Wonder who Coach Stoops was visiting? Barry was in Frisco at the Market Street last night promoting his wine...![]()
I see Mangino heard they were giving out free wine samples.

Dude was the best water skier I've ever seen.
Bud was thrown in a little early due to injuries; vs Nebraska in 1976 had a solid game...one of the best in the series my opinion.
Bud is from Ada, right? I also know his wife, Terri. (correction-former wife) BTW- Terri was a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader.

First thing that came to mind was 3 picks in the Orange Bowl.

Was he the MVP in that OB game?
Had the pleasure of attending the KState game in Bud Hebert/Bob Stoops' suite this year. Only one of them was there![]()
Any of you try his wine? Is it any good?
I remember that now yeah, the OB.
Mike Babb was the corner from Ada that passed away?
Thats awesome h****
Looks like that pic was at Del Frisco's... Bob is there just about every trip to Dallas.
