This is the first I've heard of Bain not qualifying.
Insiders have known for a long time that Huggins has been a big grade risk. It's nice to see that he will still possibly get a chance at a major D1 school. Hope it works out for all parties.
Damn. The only good news to come out of this day, and a lot of you ****ers found a way to ruin it too. Can a guy not enjoy a committ for more than 8 ****ing seconds before the negativity starts?
Pure speculation here but it could be that the definition of "risk" is related to specific conference requirements. I know there have been instances in the past where a kid couldn't get into a SEC school because his academic credits didn't include a certain conference course requirement. I think this happened between us and LSU w/Phil Loadholt. Now, usually this is related to a JUCO player but I believe Metoyer has certain issues in the same way.....courses taken, test score, whatever.
In other words, it may not be that the kid struggles in school as much as his graduation plan doesn't fit a certain requirement.

Maybe i'm just missing it but Murdock said we got a committment from and A&M committed DLman?
It is rather funny about the differing entrance requirements. Last night I was looking up the Nevada commits on Scout to see how that Kaepernick QB of the 49ers was rated in HS (2006 commit). In the search though, I noticed that Courtney Gardner was Nevada's first verbal in 2007 (DNQ) as a 2 star. That was like five years ago and he's still not qualified (at least at OU) but is trying to get into LSU. I think trying to get into the NFL or Canadian/Arena leagues would be his best choice.
Not a bad week for recruiting at all.
