Does he need to break the single season rushing record and the Vikes make the playoffs. Or will they just give to a QB again?

If he breaks the record, it's his. If he breaks 2,000, it's his.

    It's his...

Unfortunately both the MVP and Comback player of the year needs to be split. There's a dude in Denver who is very worthy of it as well.

Peyton gets Comeback player... AD gets MVP.

The Broncos made the playoffs and won a first round game last year. Manning is great but AD should be MVP.

AD is certainly deserving and yes I think they'll need to make the playoffs. However, if they decide Manning is the MVP, I can't argue with that either.

I think AD should be MVP. But Manning has a strong argument.

I think if he breaks the rushing record, he will get the award.
But I don't think he will break the rushing record. Hoping Eric ****erson's comments motivate him though.

Tebow took Denver into playoffs last yr. Why the hell would an old statue like manning deserve MVP. AD deserves it more. They have no QB and no offense and AD still dominates. He's the most deserving by far.

I think Adrian Peterson deserves the award. I also think Peyton Manning deserves the award. Adrian Peterson and Peyton Manning are really good.

Peyton Manning just had a flesh wound while AD ripped every facet of his knee. AD is comeback and MVP. Besides, Oklahoma is great and Tennessee sucks and crimson is beautiful and orange is fugly.

Denver is a more complete team. Peyton has good WR and a good ground game. He has a defense with one of the most dominating, young superstars in the game.

The Vikes are an offensive wasteland. Their QB is Christian Ponder. His top target is an average TE named Kyle Rudolph (they lost Harvin for the year). Defenses come into games with 1 goal and 1 goal only: stop AD. And he's still putting up insane numbers. Forget the fact that he had knee surgery (which shouldn't be taken into account for MVP anyway). There's no reason Minn should be in playoff contention. But somehow they are and it's because of AD.

Flesh wound my ****. Peyton's surgery required more to overcome than AD's. Medical fact.

    That said, AD=MVP, Comeback=Peyton.

The point is, in Manning's case, his post-op neck doesn't impact his throwing ability.

I got ran over by a Volkswagon Jetta at an estimated 55mph when I was 15 and I could still run and throw after that. I kind of ran like Bob Stoops, but I could still run. And I could throw like Manning sans the accuracy and arm strength! No excuses! AD > Manning

The Jetta failed to yield to the. I damaged it more than it damaged me. Just ask the hood and windshield!
