Depends on what kind of equipment is used.

I see folks have already answered . . . and I agree. The type of equipment is the key.

Yep...it would be difficult but really all they'd have to do is ban one of the required components that you can't make yourself or reuse. Either powder or primers. If they somehow were able to limit our ability to obtain those, then you're screwed.

So what constitutes a m**** shooting to you? 10? 20? Are you saying there's an acceptable level that wouldn't qualify as a m**** shooting? So what if they only kill a few? That seemed to be enough at that mall a couple of weeks ago. Once again. The problem isn't the inanimate object.

Why are you still arguing what we've already discussed? As I've said a number of times, you will always have shootings, and there will always be gun violence. There are simple measures that could be put into action that would stop or at least cut down on the number of deaths that are completely unnecessary.
And if someone wants to kill lots of people, knowing they would only be able to kill a small number would hinder them from attempting it more than knowing they can kill as many as time will allow before authorities can stop them.
I'm sure the parents of these kids who were killed would take 10 deaths over 20.
