Got this in my email for Dallas deals. There are a few too many bowls when you have to sell tickets this way.

380 sold at $13 each. I think they are $75 each from the OSU ticket office.

Cotton Bowl is worthless without the Fair. I wouldn't go either

There is talk of a possible New Year’s winter weather system in the Dallas area.
This would hold ticket sales way down

Yet there's people saying Jerry's World is a horrible host site for the Cotton Bowl.

I've always like the Cotton Bowl Stadium due to the tradition and history behind it. That's my opinion.

How is the Cotton Bowl the Cotton Bowl when the Cotton Bowl isn't played at the Cotton Bowl?

I would put my money on fans of a 7-5 team that is supposed to be so good, not really caring what said team does at this point in the season. Weather system?

    $13 bucks, classic.

The Orange Bowl doesn't even exist anymore. I remember driving past it many times as a kid visiting my grandparents.

Jerry's world is a horrible stadium imo. If you have seats high up you can't see **** and you might as well watch the game on the huge screen. The huge screen and the escalators are the only good things about that stadium.

True. Especially considering the game isn't worth a $13 ticket.

These bowl games are becoming a joke. Two years in a row now Okies are getting shipped off to the same town.

Thank God Shreveport doesn't have two bowl games.

Ya, they knocked the dump down. Even when it was still up though the OB was in Lauderdale. 00 was at Pro Player.

I agree. Bowl games used to mean something. Even when you weren't gonna win the national championship, teams could say "Hey, we went to the Orange, Rose, Sugar, or Cotton Bowl." And win or lose, it could be considered a good season. Now, every day theres a ****ty bowl game for some 6-6 MAC team or some 7-5 Sun Belt team that clearly doesn't deserve it.

Well I think the players still feel that way since they get gifts and VIP treatment. Benefit to the team, of course, are the extra practices and I get to watch college football for an extra 5 or 6 weeks. What is the downside??
