Feast or famine for AD so far.
Would like to see more 4 or 5 yarders between 15 yarders instead of -2 yarders like we've been seeing.
They hardly ever run toss sweeps with him. Maybe he might have a little more room on the edge than up the middle.

Well that toss sweep didn't work. The announcers disagree with me.

Well, AD is gonna have to have a MONSTER second half to have a chance.
It's hard to get those yards when you have 9 guys trying to stop you. Houston has a good D

Yeah. I am just hoping he can bust a 40+ yarder at some point to get over 100 for the day. If he needs under 200 next week, there is at least a chance.
Of course, at this rate, I can see him being held to 70 or 80.
Texans are really good against the run. The oline needs to pick it up for AD to have any type of chance imo.
One thing that's hurting him is he isn't getting those five yarders that add up. These holes, when there, are closing in a hurry. I like his chances better against the Packers too. If he could get 100 today I'd be happy. If they can continue to lead maybe the run will ease up as the second half goes along.

The lead is really working in our favor. The run almost always gets easier as the game goes on. And Peterson almost always gets better as the game goes on.
Man, having Ponder really doesn't help AD in this pursuit.

It's tough to crack 100 yards on any NFL team with 10 in the box all game.

That window to bounce to the second level is there but there's always someone keeping him from getting there. They tackle very well.
Watt did a fake move to the inside before he quickly went outside to easily get past Loadholt on that last series. Watt is quick and was in the backfield before Ponder handed it to Peterson
Tough day for Load. Sort of like Stephenson looking up at Freeney and Mathis.
I'm all for us getting the top pick but the D is playing a great game against Luck and Charles is in ultra beast mode - 18/213/1. It's hard to not pull for us to win.
Easy for me not to.
