Let's see. For all the 5-star recruits he had at USC, he had exactly one unbeaten season and one crystal football, same as Stoops.

I dislike the guy, but he has done well in Seattle. His other NFL experiences did not turn out so well, but he has the Seahawks playing well going into the playoffs...they are a legitimate contender.

I also like Pete. I'm a third-gen Sooner and I love Stoops, but Pete has an uncanny ability to get his players to play their ****es off for him and leave everything on the field in his name. He's done it at the college ranks and more impressively, at the pro ranks. Seattle was pure garbage before he came to town. He's done more with less than any current NFL coach. If you hate Pete based purely upon him whipping the ever living **** out if OU, you need to do one of two things and perhaps both: (a) get a ****ing hobby (b) get your **** wet

What would you say/do, if after Stoops leaves OU,and they hired PC as the HBC? Personally, I don't know the guy,never met him,do I think he's a cheat? Most definitely. do I think he'd cheat again if he returned to CFB? Without a doubt I know he would,you don't quit doing what you know has worked for you in the past,especially if it has gotten you the results it got him on the playing field.

No question, Carroll had a few good years at USC. But his coaching prowess there has been greatly exaggerated. In his 9-year tenure he had 5 seasons in which he had 2+ losses, including a 4-loss season in his final year. Talent-wise his teams were heads&tails above the rest of the conference, yet he consistently loss to lesser conference foes like Oregon State, Stanford, Washington and UCLA. And UO rose to dominate the Pac on his watch.
