Maybe I'm spoiled but I have been to eight different title games over the years (not all of them being OU either). I don't think it would be all that big a deal and certainly not at that age.

My point was that only a whiny ****, like a bms, can see a video like this and his first thought is the "boo hoo, we might never make a title game again, boo hoo".

Really kind of tired of the bama/ sec overhype. First it is the nonstop barrage of YouTube videos on Espn when bama scores against lsu. Now it is this. It is a nice gift and all. It will be a great memory for the dad and son. But is it really newsworthy?
Man, I'm right there with you. Its a great gift and if I had a son one day, I would love it if he surprised me with a gift like that. But the guy just had a little outburst of excitement for a few minutes and now ESPN is making this a story. Its a ****ing Christmas present, nothing out of the ordinary. I took my entire family and some of my best friends to the Rose Bowl when OU went, seeing how happy everyone was before during and after made it one of the best days of my life.
