Is the ability to wink with both eyes genetic? I can only wink with my right eye (leave my left eye open). My brother can only wink with his right eye, my youngest her right and my oldest her left. My wife and step son can wink with either eyes.
Can you wink with both, your left only, your right only or not a all?
Both, but I look kinda ****ed winking my right eye. Left is much more natural for me.
I can wink with both eyes, and flip my tongue both ways and roll it too. Weird little idiosyncrasies.

Blinking would be closing both eyes at the same time. We are talking about one at a time. I thought it was pretty clear but I do have consider who you are.

Can wink with both. Wife can't cross her eyes. Its weird.
I only wink when fruit pulp has inadvertently flown into my eye.
It usually causes quite a bit of misunderstanding and confusion.

Wink with both eyes, wiggle nostrils, wiggle ears, roll tongue, vulcan sign with both hands, snap with both hands, whistle out, in and between teeth, arch both eyebrows, pick up stuff with my toes, helicopter or side-to-side dingleflop, jerk it with both hands either over or under and I do one hell of a "walking downstairs" behind a couch. I'm awesome at parties, especially with that side-to-side dingleflop.

A pledge during Hell Week back in college was awaken one morning by a close range fart directly to face. He described the incident as "the All-Seeing Eye (as shown on back of $1 bill) winked at him." The guy who administered the flatulence was known as Cyclops thereafter.
I cant wink with either eye, and it sucks. I can do all that other weird stuff and I can even do a mean belly roll, but winking has always been a mystery.
