Not sure how I feel about this. Should I still hold on to the hope that this guy contracts fatal syphilis or should I be over it by now?

Meh, get over it... Same could be said about Capel, Switzer, and so on... Time to move on.

hope he gets it...
He is a good coach. He kept our program at a near elite level with very little NBA talent. Yet we won... beating teams who had pro talent. It sucks he left OU and sucks we went on probation because of him and his staff... But I think they just got caught doing what everyone was doing. I wish him success.

I'm still thankful for what he did here. He had Oklahoma basketball in the same breath as the elite schools year-in and year-out. We now see how hard it really is to win basketball at Oklahoma. No doubt, I believe Lon Kruger can do it, but it is tough to do.

I love Kelvin. He loved being at OU. What he did isn't even against NCAA rules anymore so what does that tell you.
No worries They'll give him a unlimited text and data plan.

It wasn't the breaking of the texting rule that ultimately led to his departure from OU. It was his egotistical and smug attitude with both his superiors and the ncaa over the whole deal.
Having said that, I will agree that it's unfortunate he had to leave OU.
