Any word that we get special OU stickers? DFW is Big XII country, anyway.
If the Cotton Bowl paid for them then yes, OU's will too. If the city of Arlington did it, then probably not but maybe.

I get it, but we play in Jerry World more than almost any other team I'd wager. We're in Dallas proper every single year. DFW is Baja Oklahoma not Texas. DFW is more similar culturally with OKC and Tulsa than it is with Austin, San Antonio, and Houston.

OU plays better with a chip on their shoulder - when it's them against the world. I like this, it's all coming together nicely for an epic blowout of Aggroid.
Most Bowls have several motorcycle cops ****igned to escort the team buses for the duration of their stay. I worked with the Sun Bowl committee years ago and those cops were given team jackets and decals for their helmets plus were on the sidelines with that team during the game. I wouldn't be surprised if the Arlington cops with OU got some team gear to wear... just sayin', I think it is a common practice for a team to adopt a cop during Bowl week. I noticed the El Paso cops with the Sooners a couple of years ago had OU jackets on!
Does that helmet come with snap on "horns'? what are those bumps?

For OU TX, Oklahoma Highway Patrol leads the buses in the motorcade with ****istance from other Texas officers. I am guessing this game would be the same.

Oh you're wrong. This is serious business and if we can't get an equal number of interlocking OU's on motocop helmets then we will be put at a serious disadvantage.

I heard the Arlington police was pissed, because OU told them they couldn't wear their black OU helmets.
SoonerSports posted a photo on Facebook and some of the motorcycle officers had OU decals on their bikes. I can't find it now, but it was somewhere online today.

referring to the "culture" of DFW collectively is nonsensical. dallas is definitely unlike austin, SA, and houston. FW is unlike dallas... and FW is more similar to OKC than dallas is to OKC.
dallas thinks of itself as a modern city on par with NYC, Boston, Chicago, LA, etc. etc. in culture.
I think it was Lewis Grizzard who once said that Dallas where the Eastern US ends and Ft Worth is where the Old West begins.
The Dallas Cowboys have played there a few times too.
Honesty, when it comes to culture Dallas reminds me more of Paris. London or Copenhagen.
Arlington reminds me of Skoal.
